VEDAMEA Rough Collies are professional breeders, established in 1979 and reared on five acres of lush green paddocks at the foot of the Blue Mountains in New South Wales, Australia. Now calling the stunning 7 mile beaches of Lake Cathie on the NSW Mid North Coast out home; our Collies run free with lots of fresh air and sunshine and pristine coastal landscapes to bound around in a happy and well-adjusted lifestyle. A wholesome natural diet produces sound and healthy animals. Our experience and appreciation for the value of a true working dog is linked to our strong rural roots. Although most breeds today are not required to work as such, we believe retaining this working ability is essential to produce Collies suitable as show dogs, for obedience or just simply good companions - healthy in body and spirit.

The Collie has an aesthetic value shared by few other breeds. They are always willing to please with wonderful temperaments and a great desire to be with you. They are wonderful dogs for almost anyone.

Vedamea Collies has a small, responsible breeding program reflecting our commitment to relevant testing. We have imported numerous quality Collies over the years to infuse into our breeding program, ensuring not only improvement of breed type, but also the introduction of new bloodlines ensures continued good health to our lovely breed.

Established in 1998 with our first litter bred 2000. Home of two Australian Grand Champions Breeders of multiple Champions here in Australia, South Africa and Singapore.
We are a small kennel dedicated to breeding for the betterment of the breed. Breeding for type and temperament, combining the best of English, European and Australian blood lines. All of our puppies are eye tested before 8 weeks and, where possible, all breeding stock is hip scored. Pedigrees and certificates available upon request. Visitors always welcome and all queries answered. Puppies in all three colours sometimes available although we do specialise in blue merles and tri colours as a kennel. Trainers and Breeders of Aust Ch Cathgarry Capt Keane U.D., A.D., E.T., the first Collie (Rough) in Australia to gain the Endurance test title. Captain attained his Confirmation title in the showring, his CD title in obedience and completed and passed his Endurance Test all in a very busy couple of weeks in September 1985.

Trefoilian Collies are located on the Northern Tablelands close to Armidale, NSW. We specialise in blue merle and tricolour collies. Our collies have earned champion and obedience titles. They are bred for soundness, both physically and mentally. They enjoy a rural lifestyle, clean air, while spending much time inside the house as part of the family.

Our champion stud dog, Ch. YIELD TO NONE NERO DI CAMBIANO, is imported from the famous Cambiano kennels in Italy and is a blue-bred tricolour. "Pasta" is CEA clinically clear (+/- by DNA test) and has an excellent hip and elbow score ( HD-A Elbows 0/0). He is a son of the famous International Champion and Top Stud Dog "PIAF" - Int. Ch. One Extraordinary Blu di Cambiano. Both dogs were bred by Maria Teresa Garabelli in Italy.

Chamingtn Collies is a small kennel based in Camden NSW breeding and showing the beautiful Collie Rough in all 3 colours. First and foremost our dogs are members of our family. They our loved by us, our children’s best friends and enjoy coming along on family beach trips. In breeding we aim is to breed for type, quality, soundness and especially fantastic temperaments. Our focus is to breed healthy family dogs with exceptional temperaments. Our puppies are raised in our loving family home and around our children - as parents we know how important this is. Our breeding dogs are eye-tested by a canine ophthalmologist and hip/elbow scored. All puppies are eye-tested, vaccinated, vet checked and go to their new homes with basic training using the puppy culture program as our base. Our dogs have exceptional backgrounds and we thank all the breeders behind them who some have been great mentors to me. We provide a lifetime of support to our puppy owners.
