By July 2006 LochWind was very proud of it's 13 Collie champions and ROM sire!
For my foundation I imported the best pedigrees, DNA tested, proven champions & champion producing stock, from top American kennels. At LochWind I believed in selecting for enduring quality. I bred quality not quantity. Offered genuine collies with great movement & temperament. Under International judges, my collies won on their merits, according to the standard, no matter which state or country, nor who was on the end of the lead ! Their results spoke volumes. This resulted in their consistent award winning achievements at the 3 biggest shows in WA, The Western Classic, Winter Festival & Perth Royal Show as well as in the Eastern States and New Zealand.
2014- Our imports' names stand out in pedigrees of many top winning collies today. Including BIS BISS Sup Ch/Ire Ch Kazjs Sir Spence,BIS BISS Sup Ch Roxedo Black Raven, BIS BISS Ch Burdekin Bossy Boots BIS at 10th Australian Collie Nationals, NZ Ch/Ch LochWind Colour Coded RUBISS BOV at NZ Collie Nationals. So the American legacy lives on.
Success thanks to the generosity of Highcroft and Tartanside Kennels in the USA, for allowing their beautiful collies to come to Australia.
I ceased breeding Collies in 2006.
