We are experienced breeders and exhibitors of quality mini wires. Based in Brisbane we have been actively involved with the Qld.Dog World and the Dachshund Club of Queensland for many years.
We are very proud of our lovely Champion mini wires and have selectively imported our breeding stock from top kennels in the United Kingdom, Japan and New Zealand. Our stud dogs and breeding mums have tested clear of Lafora’s disease and PRA cord 1.
We really love seeing our dogs and pups excel in the show ring, enjoying club obedience and dog sports, and growing up in special homes as pampered pets.
Thanks for all the feedback and news of our recent litters. We look forward to sharing more comments and progress stories of our super furkids. However, due to changed family situations we are not planning any litters for some time and do not have any lovely pups available.

The Miniature Wirehaired Dachshunds from Tarrangower are delightful little characters that have been selectively bred to excel in the show ring as well as in the earthdog den. They are wonderful companions and good watchdogs. All of our breeding stock is certified PRA and Laforas disease clear. Puppies are occasionally available.

My name is Nikki I am the puppy coordinator for the Dachshund Club Of NSW Inc and I am a member of the committee. I can help anyone with enquires regarding dachshund pups or info on dachshunds.

Nikki & Yvonne Anastas, we own, show and occasionally breed miniature wire haired dachshunds from uk lines.
We are the Australian National Best Of Breed Winner 2009 . My boys daughter was the Australian National Best Of Breed Winner 2012 and we are also the Australian National Best Of Breed Winner for 2015. All National major wins Runner Up to Best Of Breed etc on my website newly created may 2017 and still being updated at present. National Dachshund Specialty Show 2018 We were Runner up to Best Of Breed also.
A Dachshund National Specialty is every 3 years for all Show Dachshunds in Australia.

Our dogs are loved and cared for and are happy and healthy. The pups are brought up with their mother in the home and are microchipped, vaccinated twice and wormed regularly.
It is of great importance that only the best homes have our dogs.

Oldest most respected kennel renowned for quality NOT quantity. Working in with Wickerby (NZ) our Champion stock is being dual titled. Although not regularly showing as there is a life outside the ring we are the most successful kennel in Australia with wins on the board such as back to back Best in Show Speciality 2010, 2011. "Dolli" now holds a breed record for major Dachshund Speciality wins. We do not breed often and every breeding is planned and done for a purpose but there is the occasional puppy for sale. We are a small tight knit family breeders who only breed sparingly

Health and Temperament are paramount . Selective breeding only.

All breeding stock and puppies tested clear for PRA Cord 1 and Parents and Grandparents tested CLEAR for Laforas disease with full documentation. All breeding stock are also back x-rayed to determine the calcifications in the spine (IVDD).
Proof of clearance certificates available for both parents and grandparents. I do not just say clear by parentage.

A beautiful mini wire came to live with us a few years ago, a show dog for our daughter who was too small to handle our great danes. What an impact this little dachshund has made on our lives.
