We have been showing and breeding since 1994 and have been successful in the show ring at the highest levels. Starting out with Miniature Pinschers, a few years later Italian Greyhounds and since 2001 Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Last year we purchased our first Frenchie and are totally smitten.

Our fur babies are raised in our home well loved, well socialized and health tested. .

When we have litters we do generally have babies available to pet and show homes and welcome your enquiry.

My aim is to breed healthy, sound French Bulldogs to the ANKC Breed Standard, following Dogs NSW & the French Bulldog Club of NSW Code of Ethics.

I am a very small breeder, that shows regularly, located in the Cessnock LGA of the Hunter Valley. My dogs are not kept in kennels/runs, they are part of the family and are adored and loved. I occasionally have puppies available to approved homes on a Limited register. Puppies are raised in a family environment and will be wormed, microchipped, vaccinated and have their preliminary spine Xrays done before being placed with their forever home.

Due to the increasing popularity of the French Bulldog, more inexperienced newcomers are breeding inferior puppies for profit only. There are no so called rare colours. Avoid making a bad decision. An ethical, responsible breeder. breeds to improve the health of the French Bulldog, not just to create a product for sale. They know their dogs, study pedigrees and health test their dogs before planning a litter. They are involved in breed club activities and health schemes, and compete in the show ring with their dogs.

I am a small boutique breeder and my Frenchie’s are my family. My aim is to breed healthy, sound French Bulldogs true to the ANKC Breed Standard, following Dogs NSW Code of Ethics.
I have 3 breeding girls and they are all health tested prior to breeding. This means they are DNA tested for hereditary cataracts, breed specific diseases and their hips and spine are x rayed and scored.
My girls have also been Respiratory function graded, by a Specialist Veterinarian team from Cambridge University with clear score gradings – results can be seen on the Orivet website.
Both Parents undergo DNA testing prior to breeding. This means the puppies are clear by parentage and will not inherit/ display any of these diseases. All my breeding dogs undergo a Full Breed Disease DNA Profile. Based on those results, the puppies that I breed cannot be affected (double gene carriers) by the testable diseases known to affect French Bulldogs.
Chezfrench is dedicated to producing beautiful & healthy French Bulldogs and I choose the best genetics available to advance the quality & health of breed, by selecting gorgeous boys that have impressive pedigrees and are proven sires, with top winning progeny in Australia and overseas. I will only breed from dogs with no known health issues & with exceptional temperaments.
Puppies are DNA tested, spine and trachea x-rayed at 9 weeks, heart, eyes, and jaws are checked, and a veterinary health report is issued, and guaranteed.
