At GSDCA GM's the Affiliated Clubs have voted AGAINST a VOLUNTARY DM testing scheme. Despite this we will continue to use this test to help in the selection of breeding partners. We question why any Breeder would not test for DM. The test is non invasive and minimal cost to Breeder. We only breed with dogs that have been tested DM Clear.

Members of Dogs NSW & GSDCA support their breed schemes & adhere to their Code of Ethics. Recipient of the GSDCA Bronze & Silver Breeders Achievement Award now working towards our Gold.

All our puppies & older dogs are sold on the strict condition that our instructions on diet, weight control, exercise, use of Vitamin C basic obedience training are strictly adhered to. Pups can be purchased in installments commencing with a holding deposit of $500.00 at time of birth.

In 2013 our girl won the Bronze Medal but what we love most of all about her is her soundness of temperament and the love she gives us and our grandchildren.

Breeding German Shepherds with herding ability from the famous Kirschental Kennels in Germany, many times winners of the German Sheepherding trial championships, exporting dogs worldwide, their bloodlines now available in Australia. Carla vom haus Kirschental, arrived in whelp to Yurado vom haus Kirschental HGH and produced 10pups(5M-5F)which will found my breeding programe to my own working shepherd males,strong old Australian working lines which I have bred and worked on our property for decades. Abbotsmoor Jasons Quest HT exhibits a very strong eye contact which could be compared to that of a Border collie. Carla was only made available to me as Karl Fuller (Kirschental) was unable to finish training her due to ill health as he is now in his eighties. She is from their best working bitch, and is graded SG but as she left Germany before gaining a working title, she was not able to be awarded higher, as dogs must have a working title to be eligible for excellent. The pups sire V Yurado vom Kirschental HGH is graded Excellent and was shown 11 times in Germany for 11 firsts and I was lucky to have the chance to mate Carla to him before she left Germany. Both parents can be viewed on the German Shepherd Pedigree Database by simply typing in their names.
Two of her pups will stand at stud at Abbotsmoor in future, both of them have already gained passes in HT and all 6 of her pups retained,including 3 top bitches, have gained their H.I.T's.

Pups are raised in a clean home environment, exposed to everyday life events are regularly handled including Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), correctly exposed to sounds, sights and tactile environmental conditions appropriate for age specific socialization. We build hunt & prey drives and initiate crate training, sleeping pups individually by 8 weeks of age, preparing them for separation from the litter and building confidence when required to be alone.

THE PAST
I bought my first GSD in 1971 he was just a pet, trained him in obedience, bought my first show dog in 1973 showed her to her title Ch Shepherdglen Fantasy Aka Tiffany beautiful bitch met Alan Kalb (Ruanill Kennels) when I wanted to mate her, he was President of the GSDLeague in those days, we became partners for the next 18 years. As he & his wife got older I showed & Bred their litters for them, he taught me everything & the rest is history.

THE PRESENT
Allendell Kennel has now produced 7 Supreme Champions & 8 Grand Champions to date. Multiple Best in Show winners & Royal Best of Breed winner.

THE FUTURE
We breed for temperment, soundness and overall family companion.

Nikobishunde is a small kennel owned by Nev and Miriam Kirkham, breeding for temperament and type, on the outskirts of South-West Sydney, Australia. All our dogs are considered part of the family. At Nikobishunde there are no kennels, just temporary penned area for puppies to play safely without being knocked over by over enthusiastic "bigger puppies".


Dog breeds are "grouped" into various breed types and here in Australia, the GSD is in the Working Dog group. We do show our dogs in "Specialty" and "All Breeds" conformation shows but also see the dogs happiest when their working and having to utilise their intelligence. Being a very intelligent breed, they can get bored and this is where many owners run into issues. To keep our dogs active and interest up, they all attend show training, obedience training, sheep herding training, trips the the beach and pool and so on. After all, they are a working dog and not one for your lap (though they sometimes think other wise). They are especially not for leaving in the back yard.

Tearmannair is a small kennel dedicated to breeding quality straight backed German Shepherd Dogs (GSD) in the NSW Riverina, Australia and from time-to-time we may have puppies on offer. At Tearmannair we strive for excellence, therefore, each mating is the culmination of of extensive research and consideration to improve the form, function and temperament of our breeding lines.

ALL breeding stock have been have been hip & elbow scored and are DNA screened for known health issues within the breed, guaranteeing that we never produce pups that are “affected“. We keep the best prospect of the litter to enrich our lines with the remainder of the puppies offered as pets to suitable homes.

At Tearmannair our dogs ARE our family, they are not kenneled instead they are raised as part of the Tearmannair pack. Having only a small number of breeding animals living on a small country property, enables our GSDs to grow, flourish and develop into well mannered companions that are well socialised. Training and socialisation go hand in hand. Well socialised dogs are invariably well-trained dogs and vice versa. Tearmannair puppies being house reared means that they will be exposed and accustomed to the paraphernalia they will experience in their new home as well as other animals, people (including children) and a variety of situations.

Fabelhund aims to produce well tempered, versatile, and conformationally sound German Shepherd Dogs. We breed to produce dogs capable of excelling in a multitude of avenues, including a variety of dog sports, conformation showing, and of course as loving family companions.

And we’re not just talk- we hope to lead by example in proving the versatility and functionality of our dogs in both show and sports rings. Most weekends, you’ll find us competing with our dogs across NSW either in the show ring, or dog sports such as obedience, lure coursing, rally-obedience, and tricks!

We choose our dogs, and their lines, carefully in order to accomplish this without the need to sacrifice either beauty or brains. Our pedigrees proudly depict multitudes of show and performance titles, clear health panels, and strong looking dogs.
