Vanharley Kennels was est.in 1985. Since this time we have sought to achieve a combination of solid breeding lines combining strength of character, correct construction and soundness of body & mind. Always using the best bloodlines available & following the Breed Improvement Schemes for Hips, Elbows, Haemophelia & Breed Survey through the German Shep.Dog Council of Aust.,who have awarded me a "GOLD Medal" for the amount of progeny bred who have achieved their "A"/"Z". Dogs who have not only passed the scheme for elbows and achieved the 'Z' stamp, but who have a score of '0' on both elbows. I have maintained my base lines that combine the best bloodlines available, which include Gold Medal winners & Champions, to these I have added top producing Sieger & VA lines from Germany. Dogs such as these help to maintain the quality I have come to expect in my kennels, to produce dogs that can go out in public & make me proud of their achievements, such as:
