We run a breeding program which produces litters of a high calibre, profuse coats, Square and correct size.
Our Spitz Mittel puppies possess sound, even temperaments and are ideal as pets for families with children. With our carefully chosen lines we aim to breed the correct German Spitz Mittel for showing as well as pet.
At Mediaeval Age Kennels we provide a loving, caring and open environment for our dogs on 5 acres of land.
Providing our dogs with a safe, happy and open environment allows each dog to develop not only their own personality and sense of self, while interacting with our childern, other dogs and with our other farm animals, which helps to socialise the puppies and older spitz.

I'm only a small home based breeder my dogs live with me. My Spitz have great temperaments love playing with the children . They have beautiful coats and very intelligent. I'm always available to discuss the breed. All dogs are DNA tested. Reg with ANKC.

I have been breeding and exhibiting for over 30 years, it all started with a German Shepherd in 1981 and my partner had a Rottweiler which we competed in both showing and obedience.
Siberian Huskies were a breed which we exhibited with great success for 18 years which included our Canadian Import and homebred Aust/NZ Theldaroy High Style with Best in Shows, many Group 1st and classes in show plus many memorable moments at the Brisbane Royal and NZ National winning Best of Breed many times.
During this time the Shiba Inu came onto the scene and into our life came NZ /Aust CH. Soboku Ushin who took the show world by storm by winning consistently from a baby puppy. Into Minor puppy and she went BOB over her Multi in show winning sire and onto Champion Puppy in show at the Brisbane Royal.
Ushin continued her success throughout her career in 2 countries with BIS’s and multi in class wins.
Keeshonden came into our lives via a NZ import, we had terrific success with these guys winning multi BOB and classes in show at the Brisbane Royal. With a dog sired by our import and bred by Dell Walker we were lucky enough to be entertained by CH. Deldacmeer Kiwi Son who had many terrific wins culminating in winning Qlds Puppy Of The Year competition from completely unanimous votes in every round.
After a 10 year break we Introduce the GERMAN SPITZ Mittel - LAMORNA HELA GODDESS OF ASGARD (BELLA). First shows out she goes back to back BABY IN SHOWS and wins the BABY SWEEPSTAKES both days.
