At our family kennel we have been breeding Goldens for 35 years .I grew up goldens ,as have my children. I used to show Besenjis , but we no longer show ,instead we provide quality pups for other families to love and enjoy.We choose quality imported and homebred stud dog bloodlines to keep our bloodlines clear with no inbreeding. Our pups are extremely well socialised; raised in a family environment on our rural property , means our pups are very calm and extremely good with children of all ages,other dogs and the farm stock. We Have donated pups to charities that assist autistic children with special needs and pets for therapy for wheel chair owners . Our dogs enjoy swimming in our creek and chasing rabbits and rolling in the odd cow pat .
Pups are handled from birth to ensure happy,confident companions.
Past litters have been very sucessful for showing,obedience and house pets.

Welcome to IVYLOCK. Golden Retrievers have been in my life for 37 years. I have shown and bred dogs successfully but most of all, have loved and adored each and every one. My longest living Golden was Mel and he lived until 16 years of age.
Once you have owned a Golden it is near impossible to change to another breed. Their friendly, outgoing nature and that beautiful golden coat. They are loved by young and old, by males and females alike.

I have been a registered breeder for over 20 years. I am passionate about the golden retriever breed and breeding the healthiest and most beautifully conformed goldens for the show ring and as pets.
My breeding lines are predominantly Harvikgold, with Wildfire being the sire of my current litter.
I plan on showing a pup from this current litter but also enjoy the obedience and rally training which my dogs excel in.
I do try to breed for the golden colour and darker gold dogs, which is not a breed requirement, purely a preference as many of my puppy owners want a golden that is gold!

All my dogs are genetically screened for any hereditary issues which are all clear, plus I have current eye certificates for breeding girls and I aim to breed for the lowest hip scores.

We are a small family based breeder and goldens have been a part of the family since 1973. We are currently located in the Southern Highlands. Our pups are bred for soundness and their excellent temperament, with two being fully trained assistance dogs for my daughter who suffers from anxiety and depression. They all leave having been regularly wormed, first vaccinations, microchips and vet checked.
