Golden Retriever's and the show world have been apart of my life, since 1979, a great introduction for my mother and myself to have a foundation bitch (Ch. Leoline Golden Sequin CD) from the famous kennels "LEOLINE", Mrs Viola Reid. Mrs Reid spent a lot of her time sharing her knowledge and experience of the breed with my mother Sandra. Becoming a Breeder was and still is a huge responsibility and should never be taken half heartedly.
We strive always, to improve the high standard of Golden Retriever that we breed, to be stable in every possible way to be apart of your family.

Over the years we have Bred and owned many Titled Goldens in the Show & Obedience ring. Our World Renown Dog, Aust Champion Shogold Dom Perignon "DOM" won Best In Show at Golden Retriever Championship Speciality Shows Old, NSW and VIC under International Specialist Judges.
Children and Grand Children from Dom & his sister Shogold Silk N Elegance, have also gone on to win Best In Shows, at Golden Retriever Championship Speciality Shows & Multi Best In all Breed Shows.

Established in 1982 in NSW moved to Brisbane 2012. Dobro is a small breeder aiming for Temperament, Quality and above all sound Golden Retrievers. Our Dogs are firstly our pets whom we have some fun with at the occasional show plus enjoy obedience school.

Our blood lines have been carefully chosen from UK, Sweden, Europe and Australia, health tested for Hips Elbows Eyes and Hearts by qualified Veterinary specialists and parents of litters have full DNA profiles.

We have bred and owned several Best In Show Specialty winning Goldens, 34 Champions a Grand Champion and 5 Titled Obedience Goldens.

Our litters are carefully planned with extensive knowledge of pedigrees from a wealth of years of experience. We have helped establish several Breeders with lovely Goldens and mentor them with successful breeding programms.

We are not commercial breeders and have on average one litter of pups a year. Our pups are reared in the house so they are used to family life by the time they leave for their new homes.
We encourage new owners to attend training classes to socialise their puppy as well as achieving a well trained adult dog that is a pleasure to own.

Liz was President of the National Golden Retriever Council for 6 years, active in State Breed Clubs in Brisbane and Perth now retired from those duties . Currently a Member of the GR Club of NSW and United Kingdom.

We at Wysiwyg are proud that all our pups are in -house, and family raised.
Born into the dog world myself. I started with showing multiple other Gundog Breeds and Goldens as a Junior Handler, which is where my love for the breed started.
My first purchase was a Best in Show winner himself.
Having imported our first American Import back in 1998/99 we have since imported several more plus semen from the USA to encourage new bloodlines.
All my dogs are mid to dark gold in colour, no cream.

Since then bred/owned and shown numerous Best in Show, Best in Group award winners over the years, Multiple Royal Best of Breed/Group Winners .
I also hold 5 groups as a licensed ANKC Toy, Terrier, Gundog, Hounds and Working Dog Judge and my partner is an All Breeds Judge. So when we are not showing, we could be busy either out with our children or judging.

Our dogs have been used for TV/movies, field work, PTSD/therapy dogs, and many other reasons not just show dogs.

Of recent times our dogs have won at a high level in the USA, Ireland, Scotland, Finland and Poland. In 2018 a dog of our breeding gained his UK Stud book number and CRUFTS Qualification for life.

We only breed to UK and European bloodlines and will not compromise in our belief that these are the exemplar and most correct specimens of the breed with research backed longevity.

My name is Lesley Lowe and along with my husband, Phil - we are Wembury Golden Retrievers. My first litter was in 1987 and since that time I have bred a select number of very special dogs. We lived for a number of years in Lismore in Northern NSW, but have now settled in Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast hinterland. We are on five acres, so the dogs have plenty of room to run.
Here at Wembury Golden Retrievers we strive to have dogs with wonderful temperaments who bring joy to all they meet. It’s all about the character and sense of humour which is the essence of what makes them Goldens. They must be smart as well as trainable too.
Soundness comes next and is very important to us, which is why we do all the health checks to make sure we get it right – We test hips and elbows, hearts and eyes, Ict-A and Pra 1 & 2 DNA tests. All of these must be well and truly within our very strict standards before we consider using one of our dogs in the breeding program.
Lastly, we need our dogs to be beautiful on the outside as well as the inside. The show-ring, whilst not our primary goal, is a really good way to keep tabs on our progress – so we do compete from time to time.
We only breed occasionally and only allow our puppies to go to wonderful loving homes where they will be cherished as family members. All enquiries are welcomed.

We currently have a couple of young Golden Retrievers that we are hoping to breed in the next 12 months.

I have been a registered breeder for over 20 years and a registered Veterinary Surgeon for over 30 years.

My aim is to breed healthy and sound Golden Retrievers with good temperaments. We live on a small farm on the Southern Downs and my dogs have plenty of room to enjoy an active lifestyle. My pups are raised as part of the family with plenty of stimulation and have wonderful temperaments.

All my adult dogs have been hip and elbow scored with low scores. My dogs are all checked by a Specialist Veterinary Cardiologist to ensure they are free of any congenital heart conditions at 12 months of age prior to breeding. They are also checked by a Specialist Veterinary Ophthalmologist to ensure they are free of any genetic eye conditions. My dogs have been fully DNA tested to make sure they are clear of all the genetic diseases that can be tested for. My puppies are all DNA tested to confirm parentage. They are thoroughly vet checked in the first 8 weeks, prior to going to their new homes.

I am happy to offer ongoing support and veterinary advice, including a comprehensive puppy folder with plenty of information to help new puppy buyers.

Goldivine Golden Retrievers, newly Established in 2020.
Situated on the Sunshine Coast, on a beautiful 10 acre horse property in the fertile Mary Valley, Queensland.

From Breeding and Showing our Divine Miniature Horses for the last 14 years, we have now started in the world of dog shows. Entering the show ring for the first time in 2017, with our gorgeous bitch Stella ~ Kaparla Sing With One Voice. Followed soon after by Mara ~ Kaparla Committed No Crime. (AI)

We are very fortunate to have amazing foundation stock from well established long term breeders Heather Morrison of Kaparla Goldens (TAS) and Karen Vowell of Alubyc Goldens (QLD) incorporating amazing Australian and imported blood lines.

Our aim is to breed great conformation, excellent quality and healthy Golden Retrievers to show and for families to enjoy. A fabulous Temperament is a must. Our dogs are raised in our home with 3 boys. All pups will be well socialised and handled by children.

We only breed from health tested quality Goldens registered with ANKC. Hips/Elbows/Heart/Eyes & full DNA profiles done.

We are current members of Dogs Queensland/ Dogs Australia and The Golden Retriever Club of Queensland.

We are enjoying getting out and about during the show season with our show team,.

Whiskey River Retriever puppies and dogs are raised and live with us on our beautiful farm in Murwillumbah (Northern NSW). With 140 acres to play on, our dogs experience a range of different animals from Highland cattle, horses, chickens and geese. They participate in all aspects of life. Helping us on morning and afternoon farm chores, swims in the creeks and enjoy weekly training sessions and compete in obedience, tracking, showing and retrieving. Some of our pups have also gone on to do therapy work in various roles.

Our dogs are well socialised, fit and healthy, and are highly trainable. In the home, they are gentle and affectionate, excellent with children, and different people and are very much loved, lifelong pets to whom we are genuinely devoted.

Our puppies are raised using a combination of puppy culture and our own program to help them develop into confident, well rounded pups ready to take on the world. With my full time job in natural animal health and well-being, breeding for me is about producing dogs that can live long, happy and healthy lives. Our dogs are raised on healthy raw diets and we offer ongoing support and a new owners program for our families to ensure you feel supported before and after taking your puppy home.

We have extensively health tested our dogs with excellent results. We X-ray all of our breeding dogs for Hip & Elbow Dysplasia, certify hearts, eyes and DNA test for PRA1, PRA2 and ICT-A.

We first welcomed this wonderful breed into our lives 25 years ago and this love affair continues today. We hold them all, past and present, very dear in our hearts as they bring us great joy.

We are a small family based breeder of quality pedigree Golden Retrievers on the southern end of the Gold Coast on an acre block. All our Goldens are beloved members of our family and therefore our home is very much their home as well.

We have been breeding for several years. We breed for soundness and temperament which is so important. We strive to breed excellent quality puppies and have been very fortunate to have Karen Vowel's Alubyc and Lesley Lowe's Wembury lines in our breeding lines. This makes for very sound gorgeous puppies.

We do occasionally have puppies available to go to approved wonderful, loving forever homes where they will be welcomed as a beloved family member. We want only the best forever homes for our precious puppies.

This information will be shown in the Litters Page. A questionnaire will be required to be completed. They will be listed on the limited register and will not be able to be bred from or exported.

All of our puppies are raised in our home and enjoy a family environment. They are exposed to normal household sounds and enjoy playtime activities.

All of our breeding girls and boys have had their hips and elbows scored and have clear heart and eye certificates. They are also DNA tested for PRA1, PRA2 and ICT-A.
