We are located 2 hours west of Sydney, and have been breeding Wirehaired Vizslas since 2010. In that time we have bred only 7 litters as we only breed occasionally, focusing on quality rather than quantity.

Our dogs are from top working and show lines in Europe and the UK, and are hip scored and health tested. We also genetically test for the presence of a wirey coat. We regularly import semen to sire new litters as the gene pool in Australia for this breed is currently very small.

Some puppies from our previous litters are working in the field with quail, ducks, deer, and boar. Others are enjoying success in show, retrieving, scent work, and obedience trials. Our dogs have featured in TV commercials and magazine photo shoots. Above all, our puppies are much loved members of their human families.

We are an affiliated Puppy Culture methodology breeder, and follow their guidelines to raise our pups and help us determine which pup is best suited to each new family environment.

Welcome to VIZWYRE Kennels, a New Zealand imported bitch who comes from French & Hungarian lines. All dogs are Health Tested for Hereditary diseases and are HUU Clear, Hip/Elbow Scores with excellent scores. My dogs are shown and work in multipule disaplines gaining Titles in the Show Ring with Ch Mcas Mist CD TD winning mulipule BIG's & Puppy in Show when age of 9 months & has begun gaining her performance Titles in Obedience, open Tracking, & Working in competition.

Indi Dual Ch (T) Habanero Emotional Rescue UD RE ET now aged 13 yrs is retired but is still is an amazing hunter/tracker and auntie to puppies.

Vizwyre puppies are bought up in a loving home environment, socialized around general household noises, other adults, children & are bought up to be confident & outgoing puppies with excellent temperament that fit into family, hunting & performance/show.

I will always love the Wirehaired Vizsla and continue support for my Vizwyre puppy buyers, I will be involved in the future of HWV’s in Australia working with those I have mentored but not breeding them myself.
Circumstances have changed and a smaller breed will allow my love of performance sports & breeding to continue into the future. I will be welcoming a Border Terrier to my family of Hung Wirehaired Vizslas hopefully by the end of the year.
Anyone after a well bred and health tested HWV in the future I will be refer on.

Welcome to COPPERWIREY Kennels, Victorian based breeders of Hungarian Wirehaired Vizslas.

Our dam Copper has impeccable blood lines originating in France and Hungary. Copper has an exceptionally lovely nature and has been paired with a sire who shares these attributes. Both parents hip and elbow scores are high, and they have been health and DNA tested, and are clear of all hereditary diseases including HUU.

COPPERWIREY is a small scale kennels, and our dogs are raised on a rural style property with lots of room to run, swim and play.

Our pups are brought up in a loving environment with lots of exposure to adults, children, household noises and other pets.

They are comfortable, confident and ready to fit into a loving forever home, whether it be for hunting, the show ring or as a fantastic family pet.

Aptitude (personality) tests are carried out on each COPPERWIREY pup at seven weeks of age, to ensure that they are matched with compatible families or individuals. This process allows both us as breeders, and the potential puppy owners to be certain the pups are homed appropriately.

At COPPERWIREY, a strong emphasis is placed on exposing pups to various stimuli during critical periods in their development, in order to create a sense of resilience and confidence in each pup.
