FOURRIVERS Labradors is a small labrador kennel. We live on a large rural property west of Tenterfield, the dogs have plenty of room and a river for an afternoon swim. I have been breeding now for 24 years and absolutely love the companionship of my dogs. Our labs are a big part of our family and we strive to produce the best quality in soundness, body and temperament.

My three children (now adults) love playing and getting into mischief with the labs, they also spend quality time with puppies to help socialize them ready for new homes with families.

Our Labrador family consists of Melody (black girl) and Annie (Black Girl), Sonja (Yellow Girl), Queenie (Choc Girl) and Luna (Black Girl). 2 of these are young and 2 will retire soon. I also have 2 young boys I am running on to see if they will be suitable sires. Walker (Black Male), and Odin (Choc Male).

The labs are all hip/elbow scored and DNA tested.

I have been involved with (Registered, Purebred, Pedigree) Labrador Retrievers for 32 years. My involvement includes Conformation showing, Obedience, Agility, Tracking and Track and Search Trialling. With many titles and achievements. I am also a Qualified Obedience judge (CCD, CD), Tracking and Track and Search Judge.

As all of my Labradors compete successfully in Conformation Showing, Obedience, Agility, Tracking and Track and Search Trialling, this requires them to have a physically sound structure as well as excellent temperaments and trainability. They all have loving personalities, are very affectionate, playful dogs and just love to be with and follow their humans.

All my breeding stock are Hip and Elbow scored, DNA tested (for genetic diseases) and only the best stock are used. This ensures that puppies are structurally sound and free from any Genetically inherited defects.

As my litters are carefully planned, a lot of time goes into choosing the most appropriate sires, who will complement the quality of my females and who have outstanding quality themselves, in both structure and temperament.

Aladorrb puppies are raised in excellent conditions in the home environment, where they are shown love, receive lots of socialising and attention, reared on a top quality diet and given enrichment activities to ensure a puppy with healthy mind, healthy body.

Puppies will be registered with Dogs Qld (Pedigree papers), microchipped, vacc, wormed, complete puppy pack.

I do not breed Labradors at this stage in life. My Labradors come from Pauline Gill Tapua Labradors.
After not having owned a Labrador for nearly 25 years. I have finally succumbed and purchased 'Luther' - Banderra Lord Basil.
A sweet tempered black dog with, I believe, a lot of potential.
He has been shown by everyone else as the breed seems to always clash with my other breed Schipperkes.
He managed 4th place at the Labrador National 2012 at his first show as a 3 month old puppy, shown by me.
He was Baby in Group under Gundog specialist W Crozier in July 2012, and on 12 August his last day in Baby he was again Baby in group in the ACT under Mrs J Keenan (Vic)shown by me.
Up with the big boys, now.
A delight to live with, amenable, trainable loves everyone.
Thanks to Sue Richards for entrusting him to me. He became a champion very easily and now enjoys watching from the side lines while his smaller mates do their thing.
Lara came to live with us in 2014 Tapua Dream Maker she was quick to get nearly 100 points. But she loves her food and after Pauline and Peter saw how fat she was has gone to Hitler camp to get trimmed down and those final 13 points. Of course she got those final points and is champion "Lara Bingle".Retriever mad loves the water. She should produce fantastic retrieving and working puppies. Oh she is black as well.

I have been showing,training and breeding Labradors for over 40 years and have chocolate,black & yellow Labs. I breed for soundness,temperament & quality from dogs that have had a hip & elbow assessment & DNA testing. My pups are reared in the house on a UNIQUE program that teaches toilet training, basic manners, sound familiarisation, positive socialisation with adults & children and due to the time and constant handling a very strong and trusting bond with people is created.
In addition, I can provide owner education in both the care & training of the pup before it leaves our home.
Due to many years of teaching Infants,Primary & Special Education,I am able to cater for the needs of most families, so that the children as well as the adults, know how to correctly handle, care for and train their puppy. The whole family learns together and gains valuable knowledge to assist them in being competant, caring and responsible dog owners.
I have trained dogs all my life and hold a Certificate 1V, Delta Behavioural Dog Training. Only positive reinforcement is used, with loads of cuddles and praise as the rewards.
When our puppies leave us they are already trained to basic puppy pre school level and we know that their new owners have the knowledge to continue their training, care for them in a GENTLE & SAFE way and fulfil all their physical and psychological needs to ensure that they become a happy, well adjusted family member as well as the best companion you will ever wish for.

Marlin Coast Labradors : A small breeder situated 20 minutes north of Cairns in Far North Queensland. I have been a Labrador owner for over 30 years. Our Labradors love leading a full active life near the beach and tropical rainforest. We have the ability to transport our puppies across Australia including remote and regional areas such as the NT and Cape York regions.

Our aim is to breed quality Labradors for temperament, soundness and type. Our Labradors compete in the Obedience Ring and the Show Ring, but most of all they are devoted companions and much loved family pets. My current breeding girl is Australian Champion Goldychocs Lavender Girl (Sage) a beautiful black Labrador with a loving and tentative nature.

All my Labradors are health tested with full breed DNA analysis plus hip and elbow scoring. I am an Accredited Breeder with Dogs Queensland, a member of the Labrador Retriever Club Queensland and the Cairns City Kennel Club.

We spend time preparing our puppies to leave us well socialized, they are sold on Limited Registration with Dogs QLD pedigree papers, Information pack, wormed, vet check, vaccinated, microchipped & they come with their very own "puppy pack" and 6 weeks of insurance.

They are born and raised in a loving multi generational family home environment surrounded by other pets.

We are a small kennel breeding for temperament and working ability situated north of Adelaide.

We have been actively involved in retrieving trials, retrieving ability tests and confirmation shows for approximately 20 years. I have also competed in Obedience and Rally O competitions. I have been a Judge for both Retrieving and Retrieving ability tests for approximately 10 years.

Our foundation Bitch has been bred by Reveirter Labradors in Melbourne. Many of their dogs and bitches are used widely in retrieving, obedience and many other sporting disciplines. Reveirter also work with organizations in breeding and training dogs for service and therapy for people with a wide range of disabilities.
Revlain hopes to add to the success of Reveirter in providing dogs to these organizations.

Our breeding dogs and bitches are tested for hip and elbow dysplasia and we aim to breed pups with hip and elbow scores better than the breed average. All of our breeding dogs and bitches are genetically profiled for the full range of diseases and genetic traits that are available for the Labrador Retriever breed.

Our goal in breeding is to breed both intelligent and calm dogs, designed to be part of almost any family and Assistant or Therapy Work.
Our dogs are our family and their health and well being comes first.
We also have a strict Proudpaws family agreement in place, ensuring in the event a family can no longer care for their dog due to unforeseen circumstances, they are able to return their dog back to us at any time in their dogs life.
We will ensure to the best of our ability no dog from us will end up in the pound like our fellow rescue dogs have been.
All Puppies are temperament tested before leaving us, and start basic training such as toilet training.
and each puppy has the option to start their basic obedience training before leaving us at 8 weeks.

Our Beginnings - We are a small dedicated kennel located in Weipa, Far North Queensland, Australia. We started in Central Queensland and travelled to NQ and FNQ for shows until we moved to NQ and now FNQ. Mahelu is all about "Quality not Quantity" this is what we have strived for since starting in this breed in the 1994.

Our Kennel - Our prefix is derived from the names of our 3 sons. Mahelu Labrador Retrievers focus on quality, soundness and type, but most of all the importance of a true Labrador temperament, drive and willingness to please. All our dogs are health tested.

Our Labradors - Are part of our family, they live in our house, join us on camping adventures & holidays. We breed for ourselves first, this means we only breed to introduce a new member into our family. The other puppies in the litter are destined to become a loyal loving Labrador in your home.

Our Dog Sports - Has included Obedience, Endurance Test, and Agility, but mainly Conformation Showing. We have had the pleasure of guiding many dogs to their Australian Championship title, whether they were our own dogs or loved by others.

I have been involved in Labradors since 1986 when I met Glenice McClure of Blackboy Labradors, who became not only my mentor, but a great friend. Due to my work commitments I only have 3-4 dogs so only breed occasionally. I am President of Labrador Retriever Club of WA, a licensed Judge and have judged throughout Australia, NZ, Finland & Germany. I have titled 12 of my own dogs including 6 homebred champions. All puppies are raised in a home environment and all breeding stock Hip/Elbow scored, DNA tested and have current eye certificates.
