CederSands Labradors, Our aim is to producing top quality dogs with greatest health, temperaments & well-being dogs. All our dogs are very much part of the family. We specialise in 3 colours. I personally have found Labradors to be my bred of choice around young children as they are very loving natures dogs myself having a child with special needs the dogs have helped her in many ways to socialise outside the family home and become happy within herself.

Our breeding only happens twice or three times a year and the breeding are carefully planned. All our dogs meet Australian standards and have been elbow and hips scored before breeding. We also test for EIC & PRA

Puppies are vaccinated, Micro-chipped & wormed before leaving for their new homes. They will also leave with a puppy pack and 6 weeks free puppies insurance.

We are located just north of Coffs Harbour NSW, Only 2 minutes from the beach.

We breed working style labradors for their intelligence, health and athleticism, and that most labrador of qualities, biddability. We currently have 2 breeding age field lab style bitches, and are lucky we have the space to keep our retired bitches and dogs as pets. We aim to breed healthy, intelligent and biddable dogs that fit well into family environments.

Our dogs live with us on our 160 acre property, and enjoy walks in our bushland, farmland, and swims in the river on our property. Some sleep indoors, some outdoors, they are in their run when we're out, and when we're home they're usually in the garden or the house with us. They are easygoing dogs ready to get along with any new people or dogs they meet, and to us, that is a big part of what this breed is about.

Our puppies are raised in a family environment. All are well socialised with our dog pack and people, including children of all ages, before they go to their new homes. We strive to find good matches in puppy temperament to buyers' situations, and regularly receive positive feedback on how well our dogs fit into their new families lives.

We regularly receive positive feedback from vets on the health of our dogs and pups, our ethics, and the efforts we go to to ensure we are providing healthy pups to buyers.

We have no more litters planned for 2023, and will have 1-2 litters in 2024.

On average Kuven Labrador Retrievers breed, one, maybe two litters per year. I like a Labrador Retriever to resemble the breed standard. Physical soundness is very important. Why? So the dog will be able to do what the breed was meant to do. Strong working lines in the pedigree is one of my requirements, because it will enhance the natural instincts of the dog. It's even better if the breeding dogs have proven themselves in the field as it shows that they have natural ability.

A lot of time and effort goes into the planning of a litter. So a lot of effort goes into vetting the people that want the privilege of owning a Kuven Labrador Retriever puppy. It must be a very good home, that will last a dog's lifetime.

I am a mad animal lover living with 5 amazing Labradors. 4 chocolates and 1 yellow. My Eldest Buster is now retired. Then we have Bronte, Oliver,Maggie and our new girl Indie. They all live in the house often hogging the beds. We all walk every day stopping off at both dams on our way round the property. They have loving personalities and eat natural foods that I make myself. All my dogs are tested for PRA and EIC. They are all CLEAR! Their eye are checked annully with 10 out of 10 received for all. Bronte comes with hip scores of 1/1 elbows 0/0. Alfie is 0/0,0/0 Oliver's hip scores are 2/2, elbow's 0/0. My aim in breeding my dogs is to give families the joy and love that these wonderful animals can give. While also giving the best quality and temperment. Marsagan Labradors is a family business that started off in Scotland but has now arrived in Queensland. We believe in treating our dogs as part of the family so they are free to romp around the 1 acre grounds at our house or chill inside and wait for dinner to be served!
We place very high value on the quality of our breeding lines and the genetic makeup of our dogs.

Bred from champion pedigrees. All of our dogs hold current clear eye certificates and are clear for PRA, EIC and CNM. In addition they all have excellent hip and elbow scores.

While some of our puppies have gone on to be professional gundogs, most of them go as family pets.
They are born in the household and kept indoors until they are about 4 weeks old. We give them up when they are weaned at 8 weeks of age, by which time they have been microchipped, primo-vaccinated and dewormed. As well as the above each pup comes with their personal dossier which includes diet sheet, care and training pack, exercise and socialisation pack, 6 weeks Petcover insurance, record of worming regime, sales contract, registration with Dogs Queensland, supply of food and a scent blanket.
