Labrador Silver Coat Colour Warning - The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council (Australia) has issued a position statement for the Silver (or Platinum / Charcoal) Coat Colour. The Labrador only has 3 recognised colours - (Black, Yellow and Liver/Chocolate).

I am a small kennel breeding selectively for temperament and breed standard.
I have been breeding since 1993 with the intension of improving the standard of the Labrador
Currently I have 4 yellow, 4 Chocolate, females, which have very low hip and elbow scores.
I also have 1 Yellow and 1 chocolate males available for stud.
My lines come from some of the best in the country,with Grand Champion bloodlines.
All my dogs are raised in a family environment and are well socialized with children.
I normally have only 2 litters a year.I am committed to producing Quality pups.

We no longer compete in obedience as most of our time we are out and about exhibiting our dogs at Conformation Shows. Our dogs are very competitive and we have bred and titled a number of Australian Champions. 2018 saw us get our first home bred GRAND CHAMPION. Grand Ch Copperkee Shooting Star "Hannah"
Our breeding dogs are all hip / elbow scored and are PRA clear.
We have several stud dogs with quality breeding, imported bloodlines, low hip and elbow scores, PRA and EIC clear. Please look on our website for details on our dogs.
Puppies are sometimes available and are raised in a home environment.

I have been showing and Breeding Labradors for quite a number of years, having started in Brisbane and moving up North several years.
We breed for quality,soundness ,temprament and type.
All our breeding stock has been DNA for PRA, EIC and have hips/elbows exrayed.
All of our dogs are part of our family, and enjoy life to the fullest.

Andre achieved his Grand Championship at Callide Valley Show on the 15th May 2010 Judge was Mrs R Hartmire.
He won Best of Breed and Best in Group.
Andre is now retired,and only been shown in veterian section.
I am also proud of my lovely "Betty" who has joined us in late 2006 .
Is already making a mark in the show world having qualified for Zone 2 Puppy of the Year at Bundaberg on the 8th April 2007.
