I have had Labradors since 1999 with my faithful Sally lived till she was 15 and not 1 day went by without her going for a swim in our pool. The Labrador is breed for soundness, temperament and health and a loving family pet. Like Sally all our pups are introduced to the swimming pool at a young age.
I have breed litters from quality sires.
For show or pet, puppies are bred from quality parents that have been tested for known hereditary defects and hip and elbow scores.
The Labrador retriever has been proclaimed the most popular dog in the USA by the American Kennel Club for the past 24 years based on dogs registered (National Geographic Magazine February 2016).

Breeding of quality Black, Yellow and Chocolate Labradors.

Our breeding program is centered on achiving maximum trainability and creating a sensible canine companion.

We breed selectively for quality rather then quantity and my dogs and puppies live as part of the family.

We use mainly Imported English, NZ and American Bloodlines,

All breeding dogs are hip / elbow scored and tested for PRA and EIC.

All of our puppies are registered with DOGS QLD, Microchipped, Vaccinated and come with a puppy pack with all the info you need to keep them healthy.
Most importantly though, they will be well socialized, content puppies ready to leave our family to join yours.

We do not breed many litters so advanced bookings are essential.

Our adult dogs are thoroughly health screened; this is done via full Orivet DNA testing, conducting hip & elbow scores via the CHED program, and receiving current eye certificates via the AES program.

The puppies are born and raised in my own family home and have their own bedroom with their Mother to ensure their safety. Both mum and dad are my family pets (plus 2 other labs) and have been with me since they were eight weeks old. I think it is important that you meet the parents and get to see the home in which they have been raised as this has contributed to their temperament and loving natures. They are not particularly big Labradors; they have long legs with fine features and a compact structure. Mum has had all her antenatal care provided by Greenbank Vet hospital www.greenbankvetsqld.com.au Mum has been primarily fed Royal Canin puppy food fresh eggs (and shells) during her pregnancy and she loves chicken necks and wings as a regular treat. Mum and Dad have been treated with oral Drontal for intestinal worms, injectable ProHeart for heart worm prevention, oral Bravecto for flea and Tick control plus annual C5 vaccination. Mum and Dad have excellent hip and elbow scoring and are full breed DNA tested and clear of inheritable diseases. It is important to me as an ethical breeder that your puppies get the best start in life by their parents having all the appropriate health surveillance pre and post conception.
