We are dedicated to our breed and their development here in Australia. Home to the highest awarded Toller in the country Multi BIS Sup Ch Tarshona Cruise Control ET. Our dogs are Group and Class in Show winners. We are involved in Conformation, Junior Handling, and Endurance. Our dogs are much loved family members. All of our dogs are genetically tested.
Affectionately now as "Tollers" the breed orginates from Cananda. They were bred for duck hunting and here in Australia they have taken famously to the obedience, agility, conformation, field trials and flyball arenas. They are intelligent and very easily trained and take everything in their stride.

With over 24 years of experience in breeding and training Tollers within Australia, Micmaq Tollers are a proven line with achievements and training in a variety of arenas including: Retrieving, RATG, Conformation, Obedience, Agility, Jumping, Tricks, Scent Work, Rally, Flyball, Lure Coursing, and Endurance.
We believe in balanced training with respect for the dog and the breed, and hold the firm belief that when a Micmaq Toller joins your family, you will have long term support and advice from Sandra and the wider Micmaq community. Tollers are a wonderful breed and thrive when involved in activities such as dog sports, that allows them to focus their energy and demonstrate their intelligence. There are many resources available to help understand if a Toller is the right fit for you and your family.
All Micmaq Tollers are fully Registered, Microchipped as well as DNA, heart and health screened prior to breeding with certificates available.
Planned litter is a combination of Retrieving and Conformation lines.

Our Tollers are Health tested or clear by parentage for PRA, DM, DE, CEA Cleft Pallet & JADD & also have excellent Hip & Elbows. HEALTH CLEARANCES ARE SUPPLIED to all our new puppy owners.
We have Obedience, Agility & Show Titles on our Tollers.
We invest a huge amount of time, energy & love to ensure Tolleron Puppies are the best they can be. Our puppies are raised from birth using the “PUPPY CULTURE” program: https://www.puppyculture.com/index.html ,which is very similar to the one used by the Guide Dog Assoc & is an all-inclusive puppy raising program that incorporates the latest qualified science-based information, methods & techniques to ensure friendly well-adjusted, happy & healthy puppies that have unlimited potential. We also provide our new owners with all the info they will need to continue their puppies training, care & are happy to offer ongoing advice & assistance.

Our small kennel occasionally has available healthy, versatile toller pups that are great family pets or performance dogs for the active dog-loving family. Our pups will be raised in a family environment and represent a mix of Australian and imported bloodlines.
We have owned tollers since 2007 when we were introduced to our boy Burn. Am. Ch. Aust Ch. NSDTRC-USA Ch. Edlyn Seastar Dodge N Burn WC CD AD JDX GD QND ORA who came from Edlyn Kennels in Maryland in the USA. Burn was everything we could have wanted (and more) for a performance dog. He achieved show champion titles in the USA and Australia and gained titles in all other fields of endeavour that he attempted including retrieving (test and trial), obedience and agility. Since then, we have aimed to prove our dogs versatility by competing to titles in showing, obedience and retrieving and to prove their genetic health by conducting extensive genetic and physical testing.
Our current dogs are Sage CH Glenmave Style and Sagacity (AI) CD ORA QND RN who holds a Quintessential toller award, and Phoenix CH Castaneas TheosPhoenix RN who is just beginning his performance career.
Our small kennel is based in southern Sydney. We are happy to hear from prospective toller owners who can offer loving, active, lifelong homes.

Having taken some time away from breeding to manage my health career I have resumed with Blue's Daughter Micmaq Singing the Blues (AI) (JAZZ) and looking forward to watching the new Kirchoff puppies grow.
My pups will be house raised and grandchild proofed. I love to support the growth of my pups in their new homes. Jazz is health tested and clearances available.

Having had dogs of many different breeds for over 30 years and with a love of gundogs especially retrievers I made the decision to purchase a Toller. The breed had everything I was looking for – active, versatile, trainable, great size, good looking, personality and very loving.
After a long wait ‘Rosie’ Ch Glenmave Destination Unknown came to us from Glenmave Tollers in Victoria. Rosie commenced her show and competition career under my novice handling. Although having years of showing competition horses I had never shown or competed with a dog so it was a learning experience.
Rosie achieved her Australian Championship Title with BOB wins under Australian and International judges including Toller specialty judges and has multiple Royal Show wins and placings. Rosie also had passes in Obedience and Rally competition and I love the challenges of training a dog for these competitions.
Breeding dogs are DNA tested for all available Toller health tests and have had their hips and elbows x-rayed.
Puppies are vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, vet checked and registered with the ANKC before going to their new homes.
