Papillons from this Kennel are doing very well in the Show ring around Australia.
We are VERY proud of the quality of our pups and wish the owners of our pups success in the Show Ring.
There are two varieties in this breed the down eared variety or Phalène and the up-eared variety or the Papillon. Both these varieties are seen through out Australia and in a number of Kennels.
We are trying very hard to bring the down eared variety back into favour as this type almost died out some time ago.Since this was the original variety and our heritage this would have been a crime, so many of us are actively involved in breeding this variety back.
Our breed has many things in its favour, the small size, no doggy odour, easy to manage coat, intelligence. To name a few things.
If you think you are a person that would like to own one of these beautiful dogs from our kennel you will need to put your name on a waiting list as I do not breed often. We are more interested in the show ring and have been showing most week-ends for over 30years. Come along to a show, I'm happy to talk to you anytime..

Our love of papillons ensued after the need for a breed change due to ill health and becoming too slow to run with our boxers. The foundations for our breeding program for papillons developed from the importation of 3 beautiful papillons from the United Kingdom.

Our breeding program focuses on optimum health, fantastic temperaments and true to the standard for the show ring. Our papillons are DNA tested for hereditary issues.

We are always happy to discuss this enchanting breed, and sometimes have puppies or mature dogs looking for forever homes.

We live on 2 acres just north of Brisbane where our dogs are born, breed and raised in a loving family environment, where they run free, but adapt quickly from the home yard to the show ring.
I first started showing Irish Setters in 1998 but due to illness decided to lean towards a smaller more durable easy handling dog so I could continue my love of showing dogs.
I acquired my first Papillon (Budha) in 2010 after falling in love with him instantly with his gentle nature and good looks. Budha is now my most trusted and loyal companion, spoilt rotten. He is elegant and is a real show pony in the show ring, now retired he is beside me all day & night.

I have accomplished 16 Aust Champions & 1 Grand Champion.

I live in the Bundaberg QLD region on 10 acres of land. My dogs and I walk, play and swim on the land.
I have no cages. I have no kennels. My dogs and puppies live in the house with me.
Dogs are my passion, have been breeding different breeds over 30 years, but have settled on the Papillon and Phalene as my chosen breed. The Phalene has the moth ears as compared to the butterfly ears of the Papillon. The Phalene is the original, going back a long long way. Marie Antoinette owned a Phalene.
I have bred Paps for 10 years and hopefully will keep going for many years to come.

Peakapap would like to thank Diane Marshall (Peakachoo) for allowing us to continue her vision with breeding these beautiful little dogs.

Kouklamou, My Doll, My little love
A papillon will definitely be the little love of your life. A small toy breed known for their intelligence and vivacity, they suit many households including families with small children, elderly wanting an attentive and loving companion or someone wanting to train for dog sports (check out Lark and Gabbi on youtube). They love attention and being with people.
I have come to the dog breeding world recently with the fabulous assistance of Sabelia Papillons. I am showing 2 and we have earned Australian Champion titles, and I'm learning agility with another.
I can highly recommend this breed.
