Welcome to our colourful world of poodles.
Our aim is to focus on red and apricot standard poodles of exceptional quality and personality. We may have the occasional splash of colour, ie brown, silver, silver beige, blue. cafe au lait and cream. All adds to the excitement.
We hope you enjoy our dogs as much as we do.

Capanash Darkest Beforethedawn CCD CD RN "Delta" and her daughter "Elvera" Grand CH.Capanash Mistress of the Dark RN, two of the few Poodles to have both a Conformation Grand title & Obedience titles. We were fortunate to have the gorgeous Multi BIS German Import Sup Ch Ahornstreets Vallimont RN, sire of Delta.
Breeding for Substance, Style & most of all Temperament. Our dogs are shown in the Conformation and Obedience rings. We also have had Dogs Victoria certified Pets as Therapy dogs.
Our dogs are health tested CLEAR or better than breed average for Hips, Elbows, Eyes, and DNA panel (Vwd/NE/MY).
We regularly successfully compete with our dogs in a variety of disciplines.
We breed for quality not to get 'pretty/trendy' colours.
We don't refer to our dogs as breeding stock, they are our pets and companions.
We only breed to improve the breed, so don't continually have puppies available.

This has resulted in excellent diversity in the lines which is a great asset to the breeding.

All our dogs and pups are fed only Raw Meaty Bones, no commercial food at all, we are now breeding sixth generation raw fed dogs.
All our pups are whelped and raised in the home.
We have been breeding Standard Poodles for 20 years, as we believe that these fabulous dogs should be appreciated and available to other dog lovers. Our dogs live in our home, with crates as occasional “doggy dens, safe places and quiet zones”. They have large areas of grass and pavers (for wet weather).
They are happy to exercise with us, but equally happy to be couch potatoes, depending on their age!
In selecting a poodle of any size you should get a dog or bitch with a friendly, confident, outgoing nature. Poodles get along with anyone and any dog if they are correctly socialised from puppyhood.Along with these attributes they generally love the show ring, as they are natural performers (note their historical significance as circus and street performers).
Our poodles have participated in conformation showing, agility, tricks, obedienceand assistance dogs. Truly a versatile breed!
If obtained form a responsible breeder they will have had the appropriate health and temperament tests and these will be available for you to see. Ask about what the parents of your prospective puppy have achieved and, if possible, ask to see them.

As a new breeder I have been given a huge head start by having my first Poodle, Grand Champion Retsae Espirit de Lune. She has had a wonderful and consistant show career. I live on the NSW Central Coast not far from Woy Woy.
Our puppies (when available) go to new homes with a microchip, age appropriate vaccinations, correct worming, a valid pedigree document and registration with Dogs Australia (ANKC)/DogsNSW, Companion Animals Act rego (Council), parents' health info, a care kit and an offer of continuing support.
My next planned litter of Standard Poodle puppies will hopefully arrive in November 2024. Parents will be my imported black male Australian and American Champion Targa All The Stars (Chadwick), and my black female Australian Champion Manray Lucy In Silk Stockings (Lucy). Both Lucy and Chadwick carry the gene for white and cream puppies and both have had white and cream puppies in previous litters with other matings, so I anticipate getting both black puppies and white puppies. Puppies are raised in my home and are exposed to everyday noises, children and other dogs. They are groomed from three weeks of age and well socialised.
Health testing is extremely important and testing includes: Hips, VWd, NE and DM.
We compete in Obedience and Conformation and even though I have owned standards for over twenty years I have only bred a handful of litters and only when I want to add a new member to our family.

If you are looking for a puppy, please be aware that puppy scammers are out there and they are relentless.
If they have 8 to 12 week old puppies at very cheap prices, they are probably scamming you for money or id. Ask for their vet details (name and address) and look the vet's number up yourself. If the vet says they are OK, and they have a listing here, they are probably legitimate.
