Welcome to our colourful world of poodles.
Our aim is to focus on red and apricot standard poodles of exceptional quality and personality. We may have the occasional splash of colour, ie brown, silver, silver beige, blue. cafe au lait and cream. All adds to the excitement.
We hope you enjoy our dogs as much as we do.
Exhibitor and breeder of Champion Black, Cream & White Standard Poodles. Grand Champion Neut.CH.Capanash Dark Illusion "Vegas" was our first home bred Grand Champion, followed by GR.CH.Neut. CH. Capanash Darkest Beforethedawn CCD CD RN "Delta" and her daughter "Elvera" Grand CH.Capanash Mistress of the Dark RN, two of the few Poodles to have both a Conformation Grand title & Obedience titles. We were fortunate to have the gorgeous Multi BIS German Import Sup Ch Ahornstreets Vallimont RN, sire of Delta.
Breeding for Substance, Style & most of all Temperament. Our dogs are shown in the Conformation and Obedience rings. We also have had Dogs Victoria certified Pets as Therapy dogs.
Our dogs are health tested CLEAR or better than breed average for Hips, Elbows, Eyes, and DNA panel (Vwd/NE/MY).
We regularly successfully compete with our dogs in a variety of disciplines.
We breed for quality not to get 'pretty/trendy' colours.
We don't refer to our dogs as breeding stock, they are our pets and companions.
We only breed to improve the breed, so don't continually have puppies available.

We import semen from various European countries.
This has resulted in excellent diversity in the lines which is a great asset to the breeding.
All parents have wonderful temperaments and are health tested prior to breeding.
Puppies are whelped and raised in the home environment.

We breed black, blue, white and brown, Standard Poodles in North East Victoria. As poodle owners for over 30 years we wish to see the breed maintained by breeding healthy, strong dogs with good temperament.
Our dogs are DNA tested, health checked and hip scored with excelled results. They live with us in our home, are obedience trained and engage in work as Therapy Dogs, meeting people of all ages and environments. We have an accredited trainer on board to provide us with training knowledge and accreditation for our Therapy dogs.
As a practicing Psychologist, I understand the importance of the puppies early development, and focus on providing informed practice to give them the best start in life.
Our pups are raised in our home utilising the latest research with Early Neuro Stimulation (ENS) during critical stages of their development and will learn through Puppy Culture socialisation, enrichment with exposure to people, pets and varying environments and situations. We pay attention to good diet to develop healthy gut microbiome, important for good immune health and we toilet train.
Our puppies will be placed in excellent loving homes and be part of their new family life.

We currently have a litter of white standard poodles. Born 23/7/23 Available on 19/9/23 after we pick our show puppy out.. Puppies are use to school age children. They come from parents who have beautiful temperaments. Their sire is imported from the USA he has shown in the USA and Australia AND his a USA GRAND CHAMPION & Australia champion, as well as a great house dog! The mother had also shown and is an Australian Champion. Both parents have had Full dna Orivet health testing & hips and elbows testing done for excellent scores. All puppies are microchipped, vet checked and vaccinated and are ready to go to their new homes 19/9/23. They have also started toilet training.. Katsto Standard Poodles located Gippsland, Vic. I only bred and raised my first litter in 2022. But to despite this I have been around dogs, breeding and showing my whole life. I got my first standard poodle when I was 16, that is a long time ago!
I am very fortunate that I have had some of the best mentors in the bred during my life and are very grateful to have these people as mentors and friends. Alot of these people over the years have entrusted me with their dogs and dogs of their breeding programs, which has allowed me to be where I am now with my dogs and breeding.
My dogs first and foremost are members of my family and are dogs first and show dogs second. They love spending time within my home, in the backyard, paddock or individual runs when required. We get great enjoyment from attending dog shows and getting out and about in the public with our dogs to promote the bred.
Health and fit for purpose are my focus with my dogs, and I strongly believe if you get these correct to the best of your ability you achieve what everyone is looking for a good family member, a good show or dog sports dog, a good support dog. My love is of Silver Standard Poodles and I dream to one day have one that is a great show dog and will continue to strive to this, but also are aware Colour can not be the only focus it is just a bonus if you achieve what you desire.
