We are a family of Rhodesian Ridgeback owners of long standing who show and breed their dogs to continue over four decades of selective breeding and winning in the show ring.
We are not commercial breeders, but Rhodesian Ridgeback enthusiasts, and consider our hobby a lifelong passion.
We pride ourselves on soundness and excellent temperament.
We have consistently shown a number of Rhodesian Ridgebacks to their titles, and won a number of In Show and In Group awards at both All Breed, Group and Specialty Levels. We did set multiple original Australian records over 30 years ago!
Of note over the recent showing years we have won challenges under numerous breed specialists whose opinions we greatly appreciate. Notable wins include Ziggy winning Runner up to Best in Group under breed Specialist Myron Arthur and Loki winning Best of Breed at Canberra Royal., Tempe taking out Best Brown Nose Bitch in Show at the 2017 and Gypsy winning Opposite Baby in Show NSW Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialty Show.
We pride ourselves on having quality ridgebacks that display all characteristics of the breed.
We offer a lifetime of support, a Magombe owners Facebook group, mentoring if you are interested in showing or starting out in the breed, and best of all pups raised in a family environment.
We usually appeal to the person who appreciates the quality of our bloodlines.

Marandela Rhodesian Ridgebacks we are situated on 10 acres in the beautiful Bonville Valley, just south of Coffs Harbour, NSW. Our foundation dogs Ch Chilolo CBA Ruby Image(AI)ET RUBISS and Ch Chilolo MCR Tao on Fire(AI) ET. TD BISS were bred by widely respected Ridgeback breeder/International judge Rosemary Green. Marandela's first litter produced Ch Marandela Saltwater Pearl(AI) who thrilled us by winning Baby Puppy in Show at the National RR Show in Brisbane 2014. Ruby's 2nd litter produced Ch Marandela Wot Happens in Vegas who won Best in Show at the Victorian Rhodesian Ridgeback Specialty 2019.
Our dogs are Conformation Champions, have Tracking titles and dabble in Lure Coursing and Agility.
Puppies are raised on a premium diet, in a healthy environment with plenty of space for supervised exercise/play. They are regularly checked for dermoid sinus, Vet checked,microchipped, vaccinated, wormed regularly and well socialised prior to going to their new homes. We follow Puppy Culture Protocols.
We strive for type, temperament and soundness, our dogs are hip and elbow scored, screened for Degenerative Myelopathy(DM), Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy(JME), Heart certified by a Cardiologist and screened for Early Onset Adult Deafness (EOAD)

Sandridge Rhodesian Ridgebacks is based on a 20 acre farm high on a ridge of the Korowai o te Tonga peninsula made up of two million year old sand dunes, overlooking the Kaipara harbour, about an hour north of Auckland.

A small select kennel located in Wollongong, rarely breeding, only to supplement our own stock. Our dogs are bred for type and of course, temperament, as we believe no matter how good a dog is in the show ring, if it doesn't have a sound temperament then it shouldn't be considered in a breeding program. All of our dogs are x-rayed for hip and elbow dysplasia and also DNA tested for degenerative myelopathy.

Amuri Rhodesian Ridgebacks is situated in the village of Murchison, near the top of the South Island, NZ.
Living on a lifestyle block, our dogs enjoy sharing the land with our cattle, sheep & horses.
The girls are part of our family, & are involved in almost everything we do. From helping with the orphan lambs/calves, cafés/shopping, beach runs, to strutting their stuff in the show ring.
My passion for this breed started over 20 years ago, after having a bitch & her son. They had never left my heart, so the hunt for another RR blessed us with THREE girls from Koruridge. We are so very proud to own them. My husband is now hooked, & so Amuri Rhodesian Ridgebacks was born!
Our girls have tested clear for Degenerative Myelopathy, Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, & do not carry the Dilute/Blue coat colour gene. All have excellent Hip/Elbow scoring, and great natures.
Going forward, any Dogs chosen for our Bitches will have been tested for the above.
This breed is super versatile, so should have great natures & be sound for Lure Coursing, Agility, Obedience, Show Ring & most importantly, amazing companions! Our aim is to produce happy, healthy & correct examples of this wonderful breed.

Valeighunter Rhodesian Ridgebacks is a small select Kennel located in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland. Our fully fenced 8 acres is a dogs wonderland and paradise consisting of rainforest, rolling green fields and natural waterways with many varieties of birds and creatures for their curious noses to search out. Old Narwonah Rhodesian Ridgebacks is a small and family oriented Kennel situated in Gunnedah NSW.
I have had the privilege of having Ridgebacks in my life for 22 years. I was given the best present for my 21st birthday....my first Ridgeback, and the love affair for this magnificent breed was started.
Hunter (Australian Champion, Neuter Champion HuntingRidge Africa By Storm) was my first Ridgeback that I actively showed, followed by Jaz (Australian Champion HuntingRidge Pride of Savvana) and Miss Charlie ( Australian Champion HuntingRidge Charlies Angel AI).
After careful consideration we have decided to breed Charlie and Hunter using frozen semen collected from Hunter.
Bartess kennels have been involved with Rhodesian Ridgebacks for over 30 years. We do not breed on a regular basis, only when the time is right and we are seeking a Ridgie to join our pack. We are committed to this breed and thoroughly enjoy where they have taken us. We enjoy showing, obedience & tracking and to date have had great success. We offer advice freely and with enthusiasm.

Sanyati Ridgebacks are situated on 10 acres in East Kurrajong NSW. We have been involved with Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1984 when Kathy first began showing the breed in conformation. Now Sanyati is a second generation kennel, with daughter Ally taking over many of the roles.
Our Ridgies are much loved members of the family, they live alongside Ally’s young children and are a part of our every day life, going to family outings and camping trips. We prove our dogs quality by taking them to shows to be assessed against others breeding with very consistent and pleasing results.
We breed occasionally with a huge amount of forethought into the bloodlines and qualities we are after to continue our kennel and support our breed. All our dogs have had full DNA profiling and hip and elbow scoring to reduce and eliminate hereditary diseases from our lines. Ujamaa kennels- breeders of champions and companions since 1978. We have owned or bred over 40 Champions, but show rarely these days. Our primary objective is to breed sound companions. Our current companions are Ujamaa The Third Man- or Derrick, Aust Ch Ujamaa Alessandra Facchinetti (Allie) and Ujamaa Winx, daughter of Int Ch Vizara Jukati and Allie.
I have a particular interest in genetic diseases and dogs we breed with are routinely screened for sound hips, elbows and degenerative myelopathy (DM). Some lines are also screened for cardiac issues by ultrasound and/or hypothyroidism.
We also work with Cat Glenn and family- they are owned by Zuri and Rosie. Fran Parsons and her pack are also in "the family"
