OUR STORY

In 1998 Philip and Paula Semmel were granted the stud prefix Hapipet and had their first litter. This produced the superb Schipperke Grand Champion Hapipet Hobbits Pride.

Hapipet uses the ANKC standard for Schipperkes as its breeding target. It breeds infrequently to re-stock.

Hapipet Kennels also seeks to demonstrate the ability of the Schipperke to be a canine all-rounder via its involvement in Conformation, Obedience, Agility and Endurance.

At Hapipet Kennels each Schipperke is a member of the household, which provides a productive atmosphere for socialisation and the development of excellent temperaments.

Philip and Paula have committed themselves to the cause of the Schipperke in Australia, between them serving at various times as President and Secretary of the Schipperke Club of Victoria and the Non Sporting Dog Club of Victoria, and Obedience Instructor and Committee member at Northern Obedience Dog Club.

Adorin Schipperkes specialises in fine quality Schipperkes and our aim is to breed 'friends for life'. Here at Adorin, our aim is to produce the all round Schip, with an emphasis on fine conformation, a wonderful outgoing temperament, and good health and vitality. We aim to breed versatile Schipperkes that can do anything their owners would like them to. We do not compromise on health, temperament, or structure. At Adorin, if you are not going to breed up, why breed at all???

Our dogs are raised and housed in a loving home environment and are all well socialised and well trained. No kennel runs here!!! We take part in conformation shows, Agility, Dances with Dogs and Rally Obedience trials.

Adorin Schipperkes is run by Rochelle Manderson, past President, Vice-President, and Newsletter Editor of the Schipperke Club of Victoria, newsletter editor of the Non Sporting Dog Club of Victoria, and Agility/Obedience Instructor at Warringal Obedience Dog Club. I am also a member of the Schipperke Association of NSW, and the Agility Dog Club of Victoria.

In the short time i have owned and shown Pippa she has had a very successful show career, the highlight being Runner up Best in Show at the Bathurst and District Kennel Club in May 2014. In 2014 she has won 4 Best in Group under both local and overseas Judges, as well as numerous Class in Group and Class in Show wins and all before she has turned 3 years. I look forward to more exciting times with my little black devils. Into 2019 an i am very proud to announce that pippa attained her grand champion title in 2018 and many of those points are a result of winning 9 best in group, she is very close to attaining her supreme title.

Oliver left us April 2016. My first Schipperke and my special "man" loyal and loving to the end.
Nelson now known as Supreme Ch Sanlyn Highwayman (imp NZ). Winning so far since his arrival in 2012 - Multi Best in Groups, RUBIG's and Runner Up Best In show AB. Producing stunning puppies.
Championships for Ch Breogan Dreams Can Come True and Supreme Ch Breogan Kiwi Dreams (Manu) who is also a multi Best in Group winner. Manu is back in Australia after finishing his NZ title he has been mated to a couple of my girls. He is Mia's son, so all those glamorous Sanlyn lines . He achieved his Supreme Title over 1000 points and multiple BIG's.
Champions in 2010 Ch Breogan Faith in Black (iid) and Ch Breogan Charmin Black (iid) in 2011 Ch Everalert Pamela Panda.
2018 - Vera CH. Breogan Hava Little Faith Multi Best in group RUBIS winner almost to her Grand
2019 Murphy CH Breogan Dreaming ov Hudson and CH Rixown Race to the Gate (Myf)
Breogan has bred multiple class in group winners from limited breeding and has exhibited and owned Best in Show specialty winners, Best in group winners, great companions and watch dogs.
We breed to improve on temperament and sometimes have puppies and older Schipperkes who make excellent lounge lizards and perfect companion dogs.
I am a Toy, Gundog, Hound, Non Sporting, and Terrier judge and Gundog Retrieving Ability Test judge.

Sunfire-a name well known in American Cocker and Sussex spaniels and we have now added schipperkes to the mix!
First there was Speedi (Sup Ch Monterrez Star Kingdom ) Schipperke of the year 2019 -DOL Show dog of the year. He was followed by Sup Ch Monterrez Watch this Space and in 2019 after a visit to the Schipperke National in the USA in partnership with Marjory Adkins Graham Cruse and Neil Curwin Am Gr /Aust Supreme Ch Rivendel's Forged in Fire (imp USA) joined the team.2021 will see the first litter of Sunfire skips ! 2022 will see the start of our NBT breeding program incorporating our American lines
