Bromhund Weimaraners est. in 1972 we have been breeding, working and exhibiting Weimaraner and Weimaraner Longhairs for 51 years.

We breed for the versatile Weimaraner, but most of all they are bred to be companions to many families, so health, personality and temperament is of up most importance.

We are regarded as one of Australia's most successful Kennels, the only Weimaraner kennel in Australia to have bred 199 show champions, along with 3 Supreme Champion & 5 Grand Champions. Our record says it all!

We have also successfully bred numerous working & obedience titled dogs, some of these working titles, including Novice Retrieving Dog (NRD) Restricted Retrieving Dog (RRD) & Retrieving Trail Champion titles, Tracking Champions & International Champion.

We pride ourselves on breeding for excellent temperaments, health, and of course good looks. Our puppies are highly sort after and we currently have a waiting list for our puppies. Our puppy buyers coming back for the 2nd & 3rd Weimaraners from us.
When purchasing a puppy you can expect your puppy whether it is a family companion, show dog or working dog to come with a life time support to all our puppies and puppy buyers.

Est 1980. 2022 is our 42nd year of being owned by wonderful Weimaraners. Focusing on good temperament, breed type & hunting ability. We are both long-standing members of the Weimaraner Club of Victoria Inc, with Di being a Life Member of the club.

Our kennel has set many records over the years and have given us many hours of pleasure.
Here at Grauhund particular care is taken with our breeding program, litters are carefully planned & timed consequently our puppies are highly sort after and the majority are spoken for well in advance.

We do not have puppy application forms we like to meet people & for them to meet our dogs & see how they live & spend time talking about the breed & the individual needs of the family and see whether a Weimaraner is right for them. All of our dogs are health tested.

My love affair with this wonderful breed began 21 years ago in 2003 with my first Weimaraner 'Sami' (Ch Feldjaeger Kameo)

My 'ASHBOLT' prefix was registered in 2009 and is Home to Multi Titled dogs including Australia's Youngest Owner, Bred & Handled Supreme Champion Weimaraner 'Lucas'.

I am passionate about preserving the Weimaraner's athletic appearance, natural working ability and soundness of mind and body.
I strive to promote their trainability and versatility as an 'all round' sporting dog by successfully competing in various disciplines.
From my first litter in 2010 I kept "Lucas" SUPREME Ch Ashbolt Ark Royal RN TD ET who excelled in the showring since his debut in June that year. He's a multiple Best in Show winner both here and interstate under Judges from around the World. He also accumulated various Dog Sport Titles in Obedience, Tracking, Endurance and has competed and placed in Retrieving Trials.
A perfect example of what 'ASHBOLT' strives for.
In 2018 I had my second litter sired by 'Lucas'. His son 'Marcus' GRAND Ch Ashbolt High Class (AI) RN TD ET JC is showing the many natural abilities of his parents. He gained the Tracking Dog Title at just 8 months of age and his Conformation Title shortly after. Like his sire he is an All Breeds Best in Show, RU Best in Show and multiple Best in Group winner.
Athletic, intelligent and versatile he also has titles in various Dog Sports.

My dogs are Hip/Elbow Scored and DNA Tested for hereditary diseases.

We are a small kennel located in Gippsland Victoria.
Our dogs are part of our family first and foremost, although they have all had reasonable success in the show ring.
When we have a litter we aim to improve on what we already have in our home.
Aust Ch Silvasheen Hit the Road Jack (Odin) is our stud dog.
We decided to look for a bitch to compliment Odin and after an extensive search we brought Aust Ch Griswold Time in Motion (Xena) in to our home and Odin instantly loved her even as a baby.Two years later we then brought Aust Ch Griswold Vienna Romance ( Freya) in to the family.

Silverseeker is a newly established, registered breeder of Weimaraners. We are a small, boutique kennel that aims to raise healthy, well bred working and companion dogs. Although we are breeding from show quality lines, we believe that personality and temperament are paramount.

Established in 1972, Morago Kennels has concentrated on improving the working ability of the Weimaraner breed. Our dogs are all hunted and most have competed in Retrieving and/or Field Trials.

Dusty, my foundation bitch hunted duck, quail, rabbit, hare, pheasants, partridge, wild turkeys and pigs. Her grandson, Ch. Morago Manov War won a number of stakes in Retrieving Trials and was the first Weimaraner ever to win a Field Trial in Victoria.

The current girls are both from pure American working lines. The litter sister of Rana gained the title of Field Trial Champion and was the first of her breed to win a State Championship. Semen imported from the best field trial dog in America was used to obtain our next generation.
Our next planned litter will utilize the genetics of American Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion Brymar Unser Graf von Brussels a son of two times National Field Champion and FC Unswer von Sieger FROM, HOF. No other kennel in Australia can match the field credentials of Morago pups.

STUD D0G available - Morago The Sky's The Limit. A very stylish and proven hunting dog on quail and duck that has pure American working lines and is a total outcross to Australian lines.

All of our dogs have been DNA tested and are free of all of the known inherited genetic diseases namely Hyperuricosuria, Hypomyelination, Spinal Dysraphism and Degenerative Myelopathy . They have all been X-Rayed for both Hip and Elbow Dysplasia.

Weizpoint Weimaraners Est. 2016

Having been involved with dogs all my life, but not knowing about Weimaraners in particular until 2008, I immediately fell in love at first sight with the Weimaraner Longhair

After researching the breed for a few years, including assessing behaviour, health risks and training requirements I brought home my first Longhair "Hunter" Sharlani Fudgie Bear (LH) in 2012

I have spent the past four years working with Hunter and continuing to learn about Weimaraners. Hunter is now known as:
DUAL CH (T) GR CH SHARLANI FUDGIE BEAR (LH) ET JC

I continue to research the breed and Hunter has been fortunate to have sired 3 litters to date with:
- Feldjaeger QLD 2015
- Seriousgrey TAS 2015
- Greywei ACT 2017

with 5 champion Progeny to date, Hunter has certainly been proven as a sire and I look forward to continuing to see his progeny grow

In 2016 I planned and completed the Dogs Victoria Breeding Accreditation Program, Registering my Prefix Weizpoint with the future intention of breeding Weimaraners of both coat varieties.

Whilst I have no immediate plans for breeding, I am happy to assist with any inquiries regarding the Weimaraner breed, and in particular, can help facilitate contact with breeders of both coat varieties.

Currently, Weizpoint is also campaign home to "Sophie" CH Greywei Love Actually (LH) TD
