My involvement in the Belgian Shepherd began in 1981 and has grown. We now own & breed all 4 varieties (Groenendael, Laekenois, Malinois and Tervueren) with carefully planned litters sometimes available. Dogs bred by us are Multi Specialty BISS/BOB winners, All Breed Group and In Show winners. Our Belgians also work or compete in Obedience, Rally-O, Tracking, Herding, Lure Coursing, IPO, Mondo Ring, IGP as well as fully fledged working dogs and family companions. We have imported Terv, Groen, Mal and Laek from Belgium, USA, Portugal, Hungary and Italy. We own dogs in Greece, United Kingdom, Holland, Mexico and America. The Laekenois is a beautiful breed.. they are extremely smart, agile and willing to please. This particular variety does nothing by halves, they are intense and require an experienced handler. The Laekenois will be loyal, loving and protective of its family. This variety of the Belgian Shepherd is not for the faint hearted, they will teach you how to be a better dog trainer and handler. They will love you with their whole being. They are an amazing dog. They are also very rare, with less than 230 born in Australia over the past 28 years. We are planning a litter mid to late 2022.. All breeding dogs are DNA profiled, hip/elbow scored and eye tested, results are available on request by interested puppy buyers.

Belgian Shepherds can excel in any field you choose- Obedience, Rally Obedience, Agility, Tracking, Endurance, Lure Coursing, Herding, Weightpull or Dryland Sledding. Our adult Belgian Shepherds train and compete in some of the above disciplines, and they also participate in conformation shows. We believe they should be 'fit for purpose' - which means instinctive herding ability, coupled with fitness and intelligence, to willingly perform any task required. Belgian Shepherds are a very affectionate breed, and have an immense desire to please, creating extremely loyal and devoted companions. They are ideal family pets and they can also be suitable for homes with cats and other animals. They spend lots of time with us and our children. Situated on a large farm in a rural area they are able to explore and enjoy the great outdoors! As we only breed when we are after a new puppy for ourselves we only have limited numbers available occasionally. ALL NEW PUPPY OWNERS RECEIVE AN INFO FOLDER, PUPPY PACK WITH TOY AND PEDIGREE PAPERS. ALL OUR PUPPIES ARE VACCINATED WITH P6 FOR MAXIMUM IMMUNITY, REGULARLY WORMED, HEARTWORMED,FLEA AND TICK TREATED, VET CHECKED AND MICROCHIPPED.

Unforeseen circumstances mean we have a couple of pups available to exceptional homes. This litter, born in early October '25 have had their first health check, vaccination and microchip. Deerhounds are not your average dog. They love human companionship and interaction and make excellent pets. They do need the ability to run around very fast daily. They also sleep about 23 hours of the day. These dogs are large in size (40+kgs), are a hunting breed, and do require training and socialization. As a wire haired breed their coats are easy to maintain. Our pups are born in our house and raised in our home with our children and busy lives. Usually they are fairly well toilet trained before they go to their new forever home. Extensive efforts have been made to introduce as many situations as is possible without exposure to illness. The Pups parents were DNA screened for Factor VII and tested for Liver Shunt. These pups are Registered with Dogs NZ. Healthwise, the pups are wormed every fortnight, treated with a flea treatment, microchipped and vaccinated prior to going home. They will leave with 6 weeks free pet insurance which we encourage purchasers to maintain. Each pup will go home with a puppy pack, which includes a manual with details of how they have been reared and with helpful information, registration papers, a fortnights’ worth of food, treats, toys, blanket, collar, lead and a contract.
