Finnish Lapphunds first caught our eye in 2011. They are a beautiful intelligent breed that will win over your heart! We offer our dogs a diverse and varied lifestyle as a true member of our family. They experience life be it camping, bushwalking, 4WDriving and coming to work with us which leads to being great companions and contributes greatly to their well being. We also participate in obedience and confirmation showing. Our philosophy is to breed with the healthiest stock we can. We spend a lot of time researching pedigrees and health of dogs, importing semen which keeps our lines strong and healthy and the gene pool diverse. We breed lappies fit for the purpose intended. We do not breed often, we breed with prcd-PRA clear dogs and we are about quality and not quantity. We carry out extensive health testing prior to breeding. Our puppies and dogs are raised and live in our home. We place our puppies where they will be loved in show, sports or companion homes. We are also looking for like minded people who are willing to be part of our journey and offer preservation homes(to contribute to the future of the breed). We offer lifetime support. We are home to nine gorgeous lappies here and abroad, some of whom we have trained within various disciplines including conformation showing, obedience, tracking, herding, flyball and agility (however their favourite activity tends to be having a cuddle on our bed). Our dogs are shared between two homes, in Sydney and Brisbane, plus a number in co-ownership. We will be selectively breeding and aiming to produce structurally and temperamentally sound, healthy, typey and fit-for-purpose Finnish Lapphunds.
