This small and selective kennel strives for soundness, quality and temperament. Est.aprox 40 years ago, we have bred and owned multiple best in show winners both from homebred and our imported stock. Shelbrae have enjoyed many showring successes including the breeding of over 50 showring champions. Leslie is a specialist sheltie judge and has judged our breed in the UK, America, New Zealand, Germany, Finland, Sweden and is off again in 2010. We breed selectively for quality rather than quantity so we only occasionally have beautiful and carefully bred puppies available, and all puppies are house reared. We are a small breeders that treat all it dogs as family. Starting my breeding in Chihuahuas over 40 years ago and now only have my heart breed in Shetland Sheepdogs. This breed give you so much, they become part of the family and a breed that always knows there own kind. We started with a Sable bitch Shelbronze Atomic Fire (Shea) now dec, her first born Charm dec has Given us a lot of joy and Her son Gentleman has Swaggr daughter Meme will continue to keep us involved in Sables. We have always wanted Tris and over the last few years with the help of some qualtiy dogs have been able to stamp our own mark with Tris. We are now working on our blue lines which will be a joy to see. All 3 colours have their own unique personality and love to see them interact. In 2018 we were the only Breeder to breed and exhibit all 3 colours the National held in Perth WA. We have now live in the RIVERINA area NSW. Puppies sometimes available to the right loving homes.

REGISTERED BREEDER/EXHIBITOR. I have been showing dogs for over 35 years. I previously handled for the Almaroy Kennel (for over 20 years ) and during that time bred using the Almaroy prefix. In 2005 I bred my first bi black (black & white) under the Almaroy prefix) that I had great success within the ring although shown sparingly with Jack winning at a high level under many specialist breed judges. Since then I have blended lines to strive to keep breeding well constructed, sound dogs of good breed type. All my dogs are from English bloodlines. I had quite a long break from showing my shelties due to health reasons but have recently been able to start showing them again since surgery and am continuing on with enjoying some lovely wins with my current team. Very sparingly shown to date. I also have been involved in Jack Russell Terriers for over 25 years first handling the very well-known Gr Ch Braperami Lauren in the 90's. I have been sparingly breeding my own JR in recent years and won the Bitch CC & runner up in show at 25th Anniversary breed specialty show NSW from the junior class and also multiple runner up In show awards and many Best in show classes and best in Group classes at all breeds shows and under breed & terrier specialists on a regular basis.

We have been involved with shelties for 30 years and have all colours. We have had multi BIS winners and Specialty winners. We sell our puppies vaccinated, microchipped and eye tested.

Aiming to breed quality healthy Shelties with great temperaments. Our dogs are part of the family and our puppies are raised in our home with kids and other pets.
