About This Breeder

We are located in Qld,we are semi-Retired. We wont be breeding very often, every 3-4 years. We will only be breeding from health tested Quality , well conformed, sound proven Aravan Bloodlines. We DONT just throw 2 dogs together and main register anything with a NBT. In fact anything we breed will be on Limited Registration.

We are small Breeders of Astcd's using the very best Aravan Bloodlines, only breeding every few years. Correct, hardy Stumpies with style, stamina & substance, Balance & Brains. These bloodlines will work stock, guard, protect, show, agility & dog sports and great family pets. We are very fortunate to be mentored, supported & loved by long term knowledgeable Breeders, Brian & Fran Eichmann (Aravan) Our Dogs have the best Bloodlines- ARAVAN knows what's behind their lines with 40+ years of Breeding/Experience dating back before the 89 development register. The stumpy was recognised in 1963, Iris Heale had a monopoly on all registered dogs until the development program in 1989. *HEALTH TESTING * PLEASE ask for proof of testing. NOT all breeders health test, In Qld we only have to do Dna parentage DNA full breed profile -Orivet Baer (testing for deafness) Hips & elbows (PennHip &/or Cheds ) All of our dogs, and their parents are Clear of PRA, PLL & ALL hereditary diseases! We never bred a blind or deaf pup, & there's NO epilepsy in these bloodlines. Breeder's Notes

I have used Puppy culture for a long time, early neuro stimulation is very important in all breeds, especially Stumpies as they can be "Wary of Strangers" Lots of socialization with other breeds, puppies & adults, children, other animals horses, sheep, goats ect. I take my Pups sheep herding from a very early age. to engage their natural instinct. I don't have sheep at home so we go to Akheron herding locally or when we are at our Childers property we go and see John "sheep herding for city dogs" Baer testing is done between 6-8 weeks old DNA is done, but they are clear by parentage as ALL our dogs are genetically clear of ALL testable diseases. all our puppies are Guaranteed healthy, and We will always take back any pup/dog we have bred. We have been so fortunate to have these proper old style Aravan bloodlines, and to still be Mentored by Aravan, Brian & Fran Eichmann, the nicest, honest and kindest people you will ever meet. We are not part of the "cool kids" that are breeding multiple litters with all sorts of styles, types and mixed bags of bloodlines and health issues...new Breeders We stick to a Breed standard and Type...Breeding consistency and Superior Quality pups that are Sound, Healthy and a very long proven history, WE are new breeders ourselves, But we have 40-year-old bloodlines and the Mentors! I was involved with another breeder for years, but I have higher standards and got my own prefix. I've bred 2 litters in 3 years.
