Vonehrlich Kennels were started by Helen & I in 1974 to breed quality animals for Show and Obedience and this is still our objective. In pursuing this passion we have imported dogs from Germany, including Vasall vom Kirschental,who is one of the best bred dogs to come to Australia and his bloodlines are found behind many current prominent GSD's.Most of our breeding stock is related to this sire. Over the years we have produced many excellent graded dogs including National Bronze Medal winners - Vonehrlich Pasha, Vonehrlich Sonia and a National Reserve Challenge winner - Vonehrlich Elke.We have trialled in the obedience ring to excellent medallion standard. Vonehrlich Sassi was judged Best Intermediate Dog at the 2018 National Show in a class of 39. We are members of the German Shepherd Dog Club Of Qld for over forty five years and abide by their Code of Ethics.I am a past President and Life Member of this Club.
