He was only shown once and had a bad experience under a Russian judge, and to escape pain he backed off the table and fell. He was at a formative stage of his social development and has never regained his trust of strangers, so has never been shown again. I am indebted to Karen and Tom Keves for entrusting Rocky to me.
At home Rocky is a happy, affectionate boy and very good with the other male dogs. He is friendly and greets strangers as long as there is a fence between him and the stranger. All the other dogs and bitches love him. He plays so patiently with the young ones, never chastising them for being too rough.
His puppies are really beautiful and do not have the social hang-ups of their sire. He is the sire of the really outstanding youngsters Aaungarra Rockabilly Rebel owned by Karen and Tom Keves of Sth Aust. and the 2018 winning Qld Rising Star Tenterfied Terrier, CH Tentella Flint N Fire. A beautiful daughter sired in 2019 is doing exceptionally well in the show ring. She is Skalawag Shes Sophie Sunshine.
A litter sister to Sophie, Skalawag Shes A Pinup Girl, has been exported to Finland in 2019. She is from The first litter Rocky has sired for Skalawag, and is out of CH Skalawag Oh Wow Shes A Redhead.
Rocky has been DNA tested clear of PLL and CHG.
Tenerello Valentino is available for stud duties to approved bitches.
