Aust. Ch. Heathermist Commander
He loved the show ring and amassed nearly 1000 Challenge Points some 63 C.C's. He went on to win 3 Royal Challenges plus a Reserve Challenge, also a Reserve Challenge at a Golden Retriever Specialty, just to name a few of his memorable wins. He also was the father of many Show Champions.
At his very last Show outing in November 1998, he won "Best Veteran in Show" at the Golden Retriever Champ. Show of Victoria at the grand age of nearly 12 years old under breed specialist Mrs. Muriel Iles (UK)of Glennessa Kennels fame. A fitting finish to his wonderful show career.
