Monty has done everything that has been asked of him in the show ring. At 11 Months of age he was Challenge Dog, Runner Up Best of Breed and Puppy of the Day in Hound Group at the 2003 Sydney Royal Easter Show. He is a natural showman who walks into the ring and demands attention.

Apart from this he has been a winner in All Breeds Championship shows and Breed Specialties.

Monty has always commanded attention as he possesses strong ring presense, along with an excellent head, good ribbing and excellent bone.
