George is a multiple Challenge and Best of Breed winner. He has been awarded Best Puppy in Group, Best Junior in Group and Best Intermediate in Group. He was Best Puppy of Breed at Melbourne Royal 2006.Being one of the finalists for puppy in group.
In 2006, he was Best in Show at the Deerhound Club of Victoria Championship Specialty Show and Runner-up Deerhound of the Year (on equal points - D.C.V.ptsc).
George won Best of Breed at Adelaide Royal Show 2007 and was a finalist for best in group.
George finished off the year winning the DCV Junior Deerhound Of The Year and DCV Top Deerhound Of The Year.
After being sidelined for most of 08 with an injury George bounced back to take out BEST OF BREED at Adelaide Royal. He then went on to place 3RD IN THE GROUP FINAL. George was Top Deerhound of the Year 2008 ( DCV ptsc).
George continued to take out Top Deerhound Of the Year 2009 ( DCV ptsc ). Tragically we lost our dear boy suddenly on Jan 6th 2010.
He has left us a beautiful legacy in his many offspring.
