Lava comes from the same Kennel (Flatterhaft) as our lovely Ch Flatterhaft Steal Or Borrow (imp swd). She has a combination of Flatterhaft lines and Almanza kennels lines. She will complement our lines nicely, with some lovely line breeding possible to all of our dogs. Anneli Karlsson of Flatterhaft has been very generous in offering us this lovely bitch, and we are extremely grateful to her. She has a great temperament, lovely top-line, great angels, and a beautiful mover.She is also a lovely colour, and has nice dark eyes for a Liver Flat Coat. She her first show in minor puppy at just 6 months old she beat an 18 month old bitch for Res Challenge. At 7 months old, Lava won RUBOB and BCC, there were 7 Flat Coats entered. The next day, Lava won PUPPY IN GROUP, under International Judge - Mr R Tesoro (Malaysia). In 2007 Lava won 4 Junior In groups, and easily gained her title against several older bitch's. Lava won under Gundog Specialist Mr Greg Browne (VIC) were she went RUBOB and Best Junior In Group!!
At The Royal Adelaide show 10/9/08 Lava won Res bitch, with very strong competition. In 2009 Lava is flying winning more points than any other Flat Coat bitch in SA, with several being shown and is looking just super, having matured beautifully since her litter. We will mate her again in late 2010 or early 2011 to our very successful Grand Ch Flatterhaft Steal Or Borrow (imp swd). Lava now has over 300 challenge points, she will be only occationally shown from now on, with some lovely young bitches in our Kennel being campaigned.
