On Sunday May 23, 2010 Turnip achieved his "Canine Good Citizen" title with Delta - we believe he is the first Basenji to be awarded a CGC in Australia.
On Monday July 16, 2012 Turnip passed his Track 7 thus attaining his Tracking Champion title. He is Jan's first Dual Champion and the second in the world (so far as we have been able to establish).
Nearly 2 years later on May 4, 2014 (as Jan had a year off from tracking)Turnip passed his Test 3 to attain his TSD title.
On Friday 21 April 2017, at Ballarat - Turnip passed his TSD 6 night track to become Track and Search Dog Excellent - TSDX, with a VG Grading from judge Dawn Howard
6 May 2017 at Bendigo, judge Denise Chrystal gave Turnip his TSD 7 - and 2nd June 2017 Turnip passed his TSD 8 to become a Track and Search Champion - the second Basenji in Australia.
1 July 2017 at KCC Park judge Dawn Howard gave Turnip TSD 9 with an Excellent Grading - and on 21 October at Bendigo Turnip achieved the pinnacle when judge Alyson Mills gave him his TSD 10 with a Very Good grading.
Turnip is now a Track and Search Grand Champion
