'Pippa' is a show bitch bred by Mrs Denise Bennett. She was primarily selected for her bold personality and striking movement among her litter mates, in addition to her clever antics and lovely topline.
Pippa has completed a year of obedience training in addition to her show campaign from baby puppy to intermediate bitch across a limited no. of shows including two consecutive dalmatian club championship shows where she was placed 'Opposite baby puppy in show' under Dalmatian Specialist - Mr Arne Foss (Norway):
'Very pretty young bitch. Lovely ballance. Lovely head and expression. Moves out well, but a little wide in front. Lovely temperament. Well presented'
and
third place as Junior bitch under specialist Robert Lawson (USA) - 'Very well ballanced, but not as mature as the other two dogs' (refering to two other bitches in her class).
Pippa recently placed fourth following her maiden litter at the Dalmatian Club 61st championship show 2013 among a competitive class of 7 intermediate bitches, followed by a 'best of breed' with limited ring time just 4 months later under professor B.Corbitt.
In June 2014, she obtained her endurance title after completion of her 20km trot with the dalmatian club of Victoria.
Pippa has had two litters, puppies of which all carried her beautiful rich pigment and nature. One of these puppies is currently used as a therapy dog, visiting nursing homes and kindergardens for childhood education on how to behave around dogs, another featured on a television advertisement, and she currently has two minor puppies in the show ring from her most recent July 2016 litter (leased to the Underfoot kennel) which are both travelling along fabulously.
At age 10, Pippa has now retired, however still enjoys her daily bush walks and couch cuddles. Don't let her age fool you though...food obsession has not faded.
