He and Misty just love each other and play constantly. He tends to watch from a distance while she excavates huge holes and will try to steal her dollies at every opportunity while she isn't looking. He has a classic "Golden" temperament - gentle, affectionate and playful.
In the showring, he has been having success after success. At the age of 7 months he won his first challenge, gaining 10 points towards his title. By the age of 10 months, he had 7 Baby, Minor Puppy and Puppy in Group awards and 5 sweepstakes wins. He and Misty almost took turns in beating each other! Whilst Misty was deciding whether or not to stand still, Inca was at this stage much better behaved and tended to beat his sister on the move.
Inca went to live as a family pet with my brother from the age of 12 months, and spent 2 years out of the show ring. In June 2015 we decided to continue his show career. At the end of October 2015, in just 4 months, he amassed 98 points. This included just 7 challenges, all but 2 were Best Of Breeds and he was also awarded quite a few classes in group and show, including numerous Best In Group and Runner Up to Best In Group awards.
STOP PRESS !!!! Inca gained his Australian Championship title at the end of October 2015.
He has grown into a stunning boy, with a magnificent head and fantastic movement. He continues to be calmer than his sister, but still loves being in the ring. He continues to bring joy to all our family with his gentle and loving temperament, but has also made an impression in the showring.
He has excellent hereditary test results - 1:0=1 hips, 0:0 elbows, clear heart and eyes and is Ichthyosis CLEAR. In 2013 he sired a beautiful litter of 14 babies for Aust Ch Goldkey Dream Catcher, "Willow". Their son from this litter, Ch. Goldkey Freedom Fighter aka "Nelson" has the same gorgeous temperament as his dad.
