Aust Ch Icepaws Dancin Wyld Fyre

This special boy came to me from Icepaws Rockhampton. After a 6 year wait for a red, he is definitely worth it. Not easily recognized in the ring, it has been a long struggle for his wonderful movement and type to get noticed beyond his colour, and big coat. None the less I have persisted to campaign my red, as I believe he is a very fine example of all aspects of our amazing breed!
At just 15 months he has started to blossom. He was awarded challenge dog/rubob and junior of group, under breed specialist Delia Wells. Then his first bob and a 20 point best of breed at that - at a spitz specialty show, where he was also short listed to be in the top 3, out of a 15 breed lineup for BIS, and went on to take Juniour in Show.
Lava is like a fine wine, that improves with age. I love working with him in the ring, and now that he has nothing to prove, and his offspring are coming up through the ranks, I have decided to desex him, yet still show him in Neuter, as I just love being in the ring with him, and feel the general public should still be exposed to, and educated on reds.

Lava has been DNA tested and is NOT a long coat, and does NOT even carry the Long Coat Gene!
(It is just very coarse and thick, due to him being mainly American)
