Our "clown" of the pack, Roxy is now 9 years old and still never fails to amaze me with her love of life and great sense of humour!
She started her specialty career winning Opposite Baby In Show. To our delight, and by far her show ring highlight for us was in 2005, where she took out Best Of Breed at the Royal Adelaide Show (breed entry of 34) and was then shortlisted for the Group. She was not yet 2 years old. This Royal win was followed up in 2008, where she won the Open Bitch class and went on to take out Reserve Challenge.
In the whelping box she never produced large litters, but her puppies were beautiful. One of her main contributions has been her wonderful temperament that has been passed onto all her offspring, one of them being our current boy Aust Ch Shakuru Do U C What I C, or Jac, who has gone on to do his fair share of winning.
Roxy would often come to work at the vet clinic and was a great ambassador for the breed with her fabulous, fun nature.We are very proud of Roxy's show achievements but even prouder of being able to own such a great, fun dog with an impeccible temperament in our back yard. What a dog ....
