This special girl was welcomed into the world in Victoria and awarded to her owner and handler Miss S.Lovett-Laverty as her first show dog. Malakite brings together some lovely bloodlines, and was selected for showing as a result of her natural disposition and temperament. She has a strikingly rich pigment and deep intense eye colour to match. Her very first show at the age of 15 weeks with a first time handler was a success, after being awarded a baby puppy of breed, and following on to win a runner up baby puppy in group. With four shows under her belt by age 18 weeks, she has managed to win her age class at each show, along with coming very close in some baby puppy groups.
At almost one year old, Malakite travelled back to Victoria from NSW to present under international judges for a procession of 4 shows across 3 days, including the Dalmatian Club of Victoria's specialty show under a NZ judge. At each show, Malakite was awarded the intermediate bitch class win, and was shortlisted in a challenge line-up under South African Judge among side some top competitive bitches and professional handlers. We are very proud of this newcomer team!
In 2018, Malakite produced her first litter, with two puppies hitting the ring. Daughter Abbey 'Kamea let em talk ' awarded best baby puppy at the National Dalmatian championships, and Tom 'Kamea thyme for a kiss' best baby puppy at Victoria's dalmatian club specialty show.
