German CH, Swiss CH, Austrian CH, Int'l (FCI) CH, German Veteran CH Wallaby Ned Kelly HIC
A rock solid temperament, Ned is a real credit to the breed and he has qualified in the past and and competed at the World Championship Dog Show in Sweden 2008 (?).
Ned is a dignified dog who is at home going horseback riding, with his family's children, searching for missing people or trialing on sheep. He also showed great ability on agility obstacles. Sadly, Ned never has gotten to compete in a herding trial or agility trial, but his progeny are demonstrating his same flair, technique and work ethic
.
Now retired, he goes with his mum to to the family pub one night a week, where he keeps an eye on everything, graciously accepts sausages from the village butcher and then accompanies his mum home after closing. We are proud to have bred this awesome dog and happy that he has such a wonderful home with Anja. He is another example of the versatility, temperament and biddability of the Wallaby/Wazwallby line of dogs!
In 2007, Ned accompanied Anja back to the USA, where he competed in the ACDCA 2007 National Specialty. He won the American Bred Class and then went out into the arena and passed his Herding Instinct Test with flying colours. He was scheduled to enter both days of the herding trials (Started) on sheep, but was unable to compete as we had to return home suddenly due to a whelping bitch.
