George is being campaigned in the conformation ring as a neuter, and he earned his Neutered Champion title at the age of 11 months. He is regularly recognised in Group lineups (where he is competing against fully mature dogs), and was awarded Best Neuter in Show at the King Charles Spaniel Club of Victoria's 30th Championship Show in June 2017.
In November 2016, George entered the Rally Obedience ring for the first time and earned a beautiful pass of 96 points. Less than a week later, he followed that up with two more passes, gaining his Rally Novice title at exactly 8 months of age. He has continued to achieve highly in performance sports, and in August 2018, he earned his Tracking Champion title at Victoria’s State Tracking Trial. This in turn makes George a Dual Champion. He then went on to earn his Track and Search Champion title (and his Triple Champion title) at Morwell in August 2019, and his Track and Search Grand Champion title at Ballarat in October 2019.
He is the first King Charles Spaniel in Australia to earn a performance sports title of any kind, and is possibly the first Charlie in the world to earn a Tracking Champion title, and to hold champion titles in both conformation and a performance sport.
George is extremely smart and adores training, and is a joy to handle in the show and the trial ring. All signs point to his future being a very bright one.
