Every CAVRS puppy is raised using the same proven protocols we implement within our service dog program. As a recognised Service Dog Kennel, we place a strong emphasis on early neurological development, confidence building, environmental exposure, and resilience. From birth, our puppies are carefully raised inside the home and are exposed to a wide variety of everyday sights, sounds, surfaces, people, and experiences. They are introduced to children, household activities, grooming procedures, car travel, and age-appropriate enrichment activities designed to build confident, adaptable companions. All puppies are raised under the Assistance Dogs Australia Puppy Raising Protocol, providing them with an exceptional foundation for family life, therapy work, assistance work, sports, and performance activities. Before leaving for their new homes, puppies will have commenced: • Basic crate training • Early toilet training foundations • Recall and engagement exercises • Grooming and handling desensitisation • Exposure to novel environments and household noises • Confidence-building activities and enrichment games Each puppy leaves with: • ANKC Registration Papers (Limited Register) • Microchip and vaccination records • Comprehensive veterinary health check • Puppy information folder and care guide • Feeding and routine information • Puppy starter pack including food and useful supplies • Lifetime breeder support
