We have owned and loved Rhodesian Ridgebacks since 1984. Starting with our first rescue Ridgeback on our honeymoon. We quickly followed on with our first show female and have show and occasionally bred since then. We are not a large scale breeder. Temperament is just as important as all other traits in a ridgeback so getting the right breeding pair is essential.
Our breeding pair have been hip and elbow scored, DNA tested and are both Australian champions from two of the most successful breeders in Australia.
The temperament of our ridgeback is amazing and hopefully in the near future we can pass that onto their offspring.

Puppies go with lifetime support from myself, comprehensive puppy care information folder also with all health certificates of the parents & puppy, pedigrees, clicker etc. A supply of food they are raised on, toys, blanket with the litter & dam's scent on to help your puppy adjust to their new surroundings & homemade natural training treats.

I can arrange reliable interstate or overseas transport using trusted carriers who I have dealt with for 30yrs.

We are very pleased to announce our latest litter has just arrived. All pups are ridged and no Dermoid Sinus detected. All healthy at the first vet check. Temperament and health are our top priorities in our breeding program. Raised in the home. Zambuana Lodge is very proud to announce an outstanding new litter of Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies born on the 18th of August 2024. Charna and her 7 girls are doing great.
All of our puppies and adult dogs are well socialised and have great personalities and temperaments. Bred for their temperaments and soundness, our puppies are great with children and will make a great new addition to anyone’s family.
We currently have 1 black-nose and 2 liver-nose girls available at this stage.
All our puppies will be on limited pedigree papers, even though they are show quality puppies, we do prefer our dogs to be part of a family environment. Our price includes two vet checks, two vaccinations and their Micro-Chipping, a strict worming program and our health and hereditary guarantee.
