Amy French is 15 in July 2019 and has been handling since 2012. Amy was introduced to dog shows by Mentor Robyn when she was 7. Besides dog shows, Amy plays netball and softball. She enjoys anything to do with dogs, including grooming and training them. At home, Amy has a hunting line Beagle, but would like to have American Cockers, Soft Coated Wheatens and/or German Shorthaired Pointers when she is older. Once her junior handlers is over, Amy would like to become a professional dog handler and/or an all breeds judge. Her dog show dream is to win the National final and represent Australia at Crufts. Her most memorable dog show moment was winning Puppy in Group the first time she ever went up against adults with a Labrador called Mocha. Amy states her best ever win was Best In Group 3rd at the Royal Melbourne Show 2018 with Sup Ch Sashgar I Am Regent (AI) “Cutter” a Fox Terrier (Smooth) from Tasmania, owned by Selina Collins.
