We only breed when we are wanting a new baby to show and do not breed for the sake of it.

We have been proud French bulldog owner for many years now. We fell in love with this breed after attending a annual French bulldog show years ago. From then on we knew we wanted to be involved in showcasing and preserving this wonderful breed.

We occasionally offer for sale to the very best homes, puppies with the potential to be show quality dogs, amazing companions and family members, and outstanding breeding assets. To this aim we strive to produce only puppies that are healthy, sound, meet and surpass French Bulldog conformation standards.
We breed only from dogs with proven bloodlines and true to the breed standard with no known health issues, with exceptional temperaments, loyal and much loved. ALL of our breeding dogs undergo a Full Breed Disease DNA Profile. Based on those results, the puppies that we breed cannot be AFFECTED by the diseases known to afflict Frenchies.

I bred and successfully showed Cattle Dogs from 1979 till the birth of our son Cruz in 1999. About eight years later we started looking for a pet for Cruz, we wanted a dog that was small enough to be in the house comfortably, low maintenance and most importantly be a robust and fun dog for an 8 year old boy…. And so became our love of Frenchies. Our beloved Elliot , closely followed by Stevie and Dolly cemented our love for this endearing fun loving breed. When Cruz got a bit older and more independent I started thinking about breeding and showing dogs again of course Frenchies were my choice .
Here at Prettyvales our aim is to breed healthy and sound Frenchies for the Show Ring and for the home. We are members of ANKC and the French Bulldog Club of NSW and breed to the ANKC French Bulldog Breed Standard. Our dogs are raised in a home environment and are pets first and foremost and we find this environment carries over to the ring…. Our dogs love going to shows.
We occasionally have pups for sale on Limited Registration to the best pet homes. They come pre loved , vaccinated ,vet checked with hip/spine X-rays carried out .

After owning and then breeding Staffy’s through the ANKC dating back to the 1980’s we more recently met our first Frenchbulldog and fell in love with the breed, purchasing our first Frenchie in 2013.
Our dogs are raised inside our home as part of a loving family. We endeavour to raise puppies that are well adjusted, sound in health and true to type. All our breeding stock is DNA tested.
As small family breeders we only plan on having one or two litters per year. All puppies come vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and vet checked, ready to go to loving homes.

Please be aware that acceptable colour patterns for the breed are brindle, fawn and pied. Unacceptable and highly undesirable colours are blue, blue brindle, blue fawn, lilac, chocolate (liver), black and tan and should never be bred for.
