Lonerun ACD’s is situated just north of Adelaide in South Australia.
I only have a small number of dogs, all who live as part of the family. I breed primarily for myself for the show ring, with the emphasis being on

Soundness – the ability to work all day however harsh the conditions.

Movement – to gait freely with the minium of up and down movement, covering the maximum amount of ground with the minimum amount of effort.

Type – loss of type means loss of movement/soundness and working ability.

Temperment – nervous, aggresive or highly excitable dogs can be unreliable in the show ring, in the home or in the paddock.

The Standard – the blueprint of the breed.

I have successfully campaigned my dogs in 6 states/territory of Australia.

All dogs are PRA DNA tested or are PRA obligate free and Baer tested.

Our dogs are raised in a family enviroment and all pups are heavily socialised as this sets there great natures.

DYMATAN Australian Cattle Dogs are located Just outside Tully where it is well known for extreme amounts of rainfall. West Feluga is the name of the rural suburb. Our home and kennels is on 12 acres but our family property is close near by where we run a Quarterhorse Stud & cattle. Our dogs are working active dogs. Bitches when in pup are not allowed to work cattle but still get exercise as all my dogs get their free time to run about every day. Bitches in heat are confined for the full duration. This is done to prevent dingos or wild dogs from mating with them. A visit to Dymatan kennels is always welcomed where you will be sure to get a cuppa and a pat of any one of our beautiful dogs. They play the part of a guard dog well but on seeing my acceptance of you they will beg you for a pat. I grew up with pure bred cattle dogs as my father Kevin beleives they are the only dog worth having. In mid 2006 I started a prefix of our own so Vee (Veronica) and myself could continue the family tradition and breed ACD's that are true to type and well sort after. Its a great feeling when you get someone phone you and say they bought one of your dogs years ago and realy want another one. Usually our puppies will be quite distructive untill about 18 months old. Especialy if they get bored but after they mature they will be the best friend you ever had. ACD's that are shown love and socialised very rarely will ever become agressive. They can be a great gardian to a family if guided that way.

Our dogs win generation after generation, they are time tested and proven.
After only light showing during most of 2008 and the first half of 2009 due to health reasons Mark is back in the ring with the dogs and the winning has begun again.

Reggie has taken out the 2011 Top Australian Cattle Dog (male) Pointscore winner of ACD&K Club of Qld with Rex being Runner up. Not bad for a semi retired dog!

My name is Kylie Kuhn and my husbands name is Jason,
Koolanahill Kennels were first established in 1988 by Joe and Cheryl Payne my parents. Our family has always had a love for working dogs as they are extremely intelligent, loyal and versatile breeds. My father was a past president of the Cattle Dog & Kelpie Club of Qld and now is once again Vice President. I relocated to the city for work and my parents and I started a bussiness and due to this commitment we did not show or breed at this time. Here at Jenolian we aim to breed the All purpose Australian Cattle Dog, suitable for work, show or companion.
We are situated on a mixed farming buisness and our Dogs work alongside us day by day.

Lilly and Bob where mated on the 19/08/2010 for Lilly's second litter. Lilly and Bob's first litter were outstanding! Unfortunatly this mating does not seem to have been succsessful as Lilly is not showing, She will be bred again at her next 'season' we are very dissapointed however these things do happen.
