Established in 1977 Tegoura Australian Kelpies is a small stud breeding for the future. We pride ourselves on only using hip scored grade 1 excellent breeding stock. We produce dogs with great temperaments, excellent conformation and rich chocolate coat colour. We breed only for the improvement of our bloodlines and pups are sometimes available.

We have been associated with this wonderful breed for more than 30 years, both in working stock and showing and obedience work. We have recently started to breed our own show quality Kelpies and we strive for a combination of good temperament and excellent conformation in dogs that are capable of working all day. We consider the kelpie to be an Australian icon which deserves much greater appreciation. They make wonderful pets, particularly for young active families and are as at home in the suburbs as they are in the bush, so long as they are exercised and treated as part of the family. We occasionally have puppies available for approved homes and are happy to help you with the training of your puppy. All our breeding stock have passed their hip and elbow xrays. We aim to make friends when we place our puppies.

I am only a new breeder of Australian Kelpies.Au Ch Tomolga Black Thunder has had 2 litters that have all been sold to loving homes. My main aim is to breed true to type with good temperament - dogs that will become part of the family.One of the dogs from the first litter Jevna Desert Red continues to do well in the show ring often lining up against his younger brother.I have been showing Jevna Bunbulama and her brother Jevna Baralga from the 2nd litter with much success from limited showing . A new member of the show team is Wingdari Drovers Biddy - a black and tan bitch - that is truly a clown in the show ring. Her antics always brings a smile to the judges face. It is not just the showing,it is the joy I receive from my dogs that make them true mates.

Ballare Kennels (previously known Ballure Kennels) established in 1962. I commenced judging in Group 5 in 1968 with appointments in NSW and Victoria. The most successful sire for Ballure Kennels in our early days was Ch Weerona King, numerous of his highly successfull progeny have been shown and bred from in Australia and in Europe. Ballure Kelpies are the founding lines for many Australian and overseas Kelpie kennels.

With a profound love of this wonderful breed I became a Specialist Australian Kelpie Breed Judge in 1985. I've been successful in attaining judging appointments for speciality shows both in NSW and Victoria. I have also had the honor of judging our wonderful breed overseas Sweden and Finland and again in 08 in Finland and New Zealand.

Currently Ballare Kennels exported two beautiful bitches to Europe. Champion Ballare Woo Waa (now an International Champion)to Finland and since September 08 Australian Champion Ballare Mugungalyi to Holland. Both of the girls exported have excellent International hip/elbow scores and are of exceptional temperament and type.

Dewregal stopped breeding Kelpies for a number of years to concentrate on Australian Cattle Dogs. In 2008 we hope to be breeding from Ch Kagaru L.E. who is a lovely chocolate bitch who has consistently won in all show classes from Baby in Show right through to Open in Show.

L.E. has won Best in Show (All Breeds) and Runner Up in Shows in both All Breeds and Specialty Shows in Qld and NSW. She has won multiple Best In Group.

L.E. has been successfully handled by Child Handlers with the children taking out first place with her, so she is heavily in demand with up and coming child handlers. Sam her owner and handler has been winning Child Handler competitions with her over the years and took out the 2006 Brisbane RNA Child Handler of the Year under 13 handling L.E.

L.E. has won Best of Breed at the Brisbane Royal. She has also won the ACD&K Club of Qld Inc Kelpie Pointscore 4 times in row since she became eligible to compete.

L.E. is a typical highly intelligent kelpie with energy to burn. Apart from being a marvellous specimen, she is a joy to own.
