Graabine Elkhounds have been very successful in the show ring. Grand Champion Graabine Paadarsen won 9 Best in Shows, 4 Runner up Best in Shows and out of 42 Best in Group wins, sadly he died last year at the grand age of 15 years. Ch Wrosmar Black Russian won Best in Show from 9 group wins and over 1,000 challenge points. Gr Ch Lossehund Padraig is pictured. This dog has won well for us and is a multi Best in show, runner Up Best in show, Best in Group winner.

All elkhounds are bred acordingling to the breed standard with breed type and sound movement in mind.

Our homebred elkhounds have seen much success in the show ring with Hannah (Ch. Halgrove Hilda) a multi Royal Runner Up Best of Breed and Challenge winner and with Bond (Ch. Halgrove Bondjamesbond - pictured) our first All Breeds Best in Show winner at only 12 and a half months of age.

The newest member from Halgrove to enter the ring is Halle (Halgrove Kaywinnet Lee Frye) owned by the Tuck family - we hope that Halle will have a successful show career in the show ring.

We have now welcomed the newest and an important member to our team – Barbelka Promien Halgrove (Imp UK) who brings new and important lines to our breeding to open the gene pool in Australia.

Stud and puppy enquiries are most welcome - we usually only have one litter a year and there may be a wait for puppies.
