Snerzok Kennels was established in 1981. Over the years we have produced many champion dogs and bitches. Many of our dogs have excelled in the obedience ring, gaining CD and CDX titles. We currently have three. imported male stud dogs and share another with Kalaska Kennels. These dogs are all heavily bred on the world famous Zamoyski lines from the UK. We got our first Samoyed in 1979 just after I saw a sammy for the first time, first as pets and then breeding and showing.

It is very rare to see me in a car without a sammy with me.

We aim to breed our Samoyeds to the English standard, our dogs have good heads and coats.
Our puppies are brought up inside our house so they are part of the family from the day they open thier eyes.
Most of our sammies are house dogs, part of the family.

We find we do not have to spend much time at all to keep our dogs coats in top condition, even though we live on a rural property.

Showing is hard for us these days with business committments.

Vashka Samoyed is a small kennel breeding selectively to further the quality & working ability of the Samoyed. Vashka has been involved in showing & breeding samoyed for more than 20 years. Vashka Kennel has produced many home bred show champions from dogs from Australian, English, Finnish, New Zealand and American lines and believes in showing coloured samoyed ( cream, biscuit ) not just white ones. All breeding stock are hip scored at approx 18 months of age and only Vashka samoyeds with a hip score better than the breed average are bred.
Vashka also is the home of samoyeds with herding titles, having bred Vashka White Chemistry (AI) HIC, HT, PT - the young lady who blazed the way for Samoyed in Herding in Australia. 5 other samoyed at Vashka have herding titles including Ch Snowmist I'll Follow You (Imp Finland) HIC the only imported samoyed to gain a herding award. Vashka Solar Chemistry HSAs & Ch Vashka Sun Chemistry HSAs (litter brother & sister) are also the youngest samoyed to gain the Herding Instinct test, both gaining the award at 6 months & 3 days of age. They progressed well and both gained their PT titles at 13 months of age. Ch Vashka Sun Chemistry HSAs excelled becoming the first samoyed to gain the HSAs (herding Started A course sheep) in Australia

Although we are a relatively new comer on the show scene since our debut in 1998, Samoyeds have our love and respect and have been a large part of our family life for the past 19 years.

We have enjoyed showing 8 champions, 4 of which are Shacar bred. We have produced 1 BIS and exhibited 2 BIG winners. Selective breeding stock are hip, elbow and eye tested.

We are most fortunate to have such great mentors as Sunmist and Samdreena to teach us to do the right thing.
