Have had Scotties since 1978, but breed few litters. I prefer to breed companions with happy, "easy to live with" temperaments, that can also win in the ring, both specialty and all-breeds, including Royals. vWD tested clear. Ch Argowan Leila gained her SPD title beating all the border collies! She came 3rd at the Vic Agility Championships to win the last leg of her title (Strategic Pairs Dog) This was after her agility pass at the Agility National in Sydney. Who says scotties can't jump! Ch Argowan Leila AD JD SPD SD is now the most titled scottie in Australia.

Most traditional breeders and show people are only having a litter when they, themselves are seeking a specimen for the show ring and breed for phenotype (looks for the show ring), subsequently very few Scotties are available for the wider community. We have a mandate to change that. We have a long history of producing beautiful show quality Scotts, we breed to conformation and breed standards, have many champions both here in Australia and overseas but we are very particular when it comes to placing our babies in their forever homes. Kincraig Scotties are not available to everyone. We seek only very discerning people and potential homes, those who are willing to continue with the work we are doing for both the general health and longevity of our wonderful breed. Our scotties are "Brave of Heart", loving life and people. They love their family and welcome all who are welcomed by us. Wallace Lachlan and Ellie have all been successful in the show ring, all having had Group wins. Ellie won her class at Sydney Royal in 2003. Wallace and Elli have both obtained their Australian Championship titles. Wallace, who is VWD clear, has sired beautiful puppies who have also been successful in the show ring. It is with sadness that we report the passing of our Sweet Ellie, who died from cancer. She is sorely missed but her legacy lives on in the wonderful girls who are still with us. Delta (Banokburn Mistral breeze) has done well in the show ring since returning to Tasmania and achieved her Aust title and won Best of Group on the same day.

Gaeltaedt Scotties are located west of Kempsey on the beautiful Mid North Coast. They are happy active terriers who enjoy the benefits of a rural lifestyle and live in the house as family and are thoroughly spoilt in the style to which they have become accustomed. They are well socialised with people and horses and are probably fluent in several languages (ie. understand terms like " good dog" and "aren't they gorgeous!") as I am a host to many international travellers through Wwoof (Google it!). My dogs' temperments are exceptional. They are regularly exposed to people of different cultures who sometimes do not have the same cultural way of relating to dogs that Australians do but they cope magnificently and have been instrumental in teaching Aussie culture to my visitors. Gaeltaedt Silly Wizard (Bracken to his friends) has also "dogged" a stall at Pet Expo and sometimes accompanies me to work as a "Pets as Therapy" dog to the Nursing home where I am employed as a Registered Nurse. My dogs have not been shown much because of work and study commitments however I have always bred from excellent stock with a view to improving the breed. All dogs are clear of VWD by parentage from tested stock. One of my dogs has attained her first pass at Earthdog and all are now in active training for this dog sport so suited to this breed. Puppies occasionally available, bred for soundness, temperment and type.
