This wonderful breed is not easily available in Australia. Our outstanding line has been closely related to the UK Welsh that have been so successsful at Crufts in recent years. A successful partnership with Yorkpark (partnership now retired) saw us import top internationals from UK and Sweden.The late Ch.Adens Fit For Fight(Imp UK), Ch.Welsas Hey I'm Hot News(Imp Sweden) and Ch. Globetrotter of Happytails(Imp Romania) are all at stud (frozen semen). Also at stud Ch Tjuringa Wade. All these imports were best in show (All Breeds) winners. Puppies are sometimes available but be patiently assertive. Keith has judged Welsh in Romania, USA, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Hungary, Croatia, Portugal and Finland. Pups are sometimes available. Tjuringa have successfully bred show dogs and pets and some outstanding obedience champs since 1967.At Sept 1st 2008 Tjuringa was Australia's BEST BREEDER of Terriers and in the top 10 all breeds.Keith judges Best in Show internationally and in 2008 judged at The World Terrier Specialties in Sweden and in 2011 he judges Best in Show at the prestigious Montgomery County (USA).

Nostalgia has triumphed! It is over a decade since we campaigned Aus/Swe/Nor Ch Aden's Fit For Fight (Freddy) in partnership with Keith & trish Lovell & Dave and Di Barclay to be the only BIS Welsh in Australian History. Now our new boy, Tjuringa Warren (Dylan),co-owned by Lisa Hudson,has become the first Welsh to win Baby in Show in Australia to our knowledge at Cowra in September 2006. Thank you Mrs R. At the present time, we (Gary and Sharon Munro) are owned by just one Welsh Terrier. Her name is Seanna or Airewood Maid for Gold. Seanna joined our kennels in 2007 after being brought into this world by Lyn and Colin Duff of Victoria. Seanna had a wonderful start to her show career by winning 2 Baby Puppy in Show and 6 Baby Puppy in Group awards, as well as winning one Sweepstakes with over 20 entrants, in her 9 shows in Baby. These awards were particularly exciting as over half came from Terrier specialist judges. Seanna also qualified for Queensland's Puppy of the Year 2008 competition by winning Puppy in Show at the Toowoomba Royal and Pine Rivers Kennel Club on the same weekend. This Royal in-Show win was the first by a Welsh Terrier in Australia. Seanna gained her Australian Champion title one week after turning 12 months of age with her third Best in Group award and is continuing to win Class and in- Show awards.
