Established in 1972, Morago Kennels has concentrated on improving the working ability of the Weimaraner breed. Our dogs are all hunted and most have competed in Retrieving and/or Field Trials.
Dusty, my foundation bitch hunted duck, quail, rabbit, hare, pheasants, partridge, wild turkeys and pigs. Her grandson, Ch. Morago Manov War won a number of stakes in Retrieving Trials and was the first Weimaraner ever to win a Field Trial in Victoria.
The current girls are both from pure American working lines. The litter sister of Rana gained the title of Field Trial Champion and was the first of her breed to win a State Championship. Semen imported from the best field trial dog in America was used to obtain our next generation.
Our next planned litter will utilize the genetics of American Field Champion and Amateur Field Champion Brymar Unser Graf von Brussels a son of two times National Field Champion and FC Unswer von Sieger FROM, HOF. No other kennel in Australia can match the field credentials of Morago pups.

All of our dogs have been DNA tested and are free of all of the known inherited genetic diseases namely Hyperuricosuria, Hypomyelination, Spinal Dysraphism and Degenerative Myelopathy . They have all been X-Rayed for both Hip and Elbow Dysplasia.
